هدف اصلي اين پژوهش بررسي رابطه بين ويژگي هاي شخصيت رانندگان بر اساس آزمون نيو و تيپ شخصيت آنها براساس آزمون مايرز بريگز با سابقه تصادف آنها در شهركرد بود. اين مطالعه پس رويدادي از نوع علي- مقايسه اي وجامعه آماري شامل كليه رانندگان شهركرد )افراد با شغل رانندگي( بود. نمونه سه گروه 30 نفره بود. رانندگاني كه سابقه تصادف نداشتند،رانندگاني كه يك يا دوبار سابقه تصادف داشتند و رانندگاني كه بيش از دوبار سابقه تصادف داشتند كه به صورت نمونه در دسترس از بين افرادي كه در نيمه اول سال 1392 به واحدهاي مختلف راهنمايي و رانندگي شهركرد مراجعه كردند و از بين رانندگاني كه در سازمان اتوبوسراني،تاكسيراني و پايانه ها متفاوت ديگر حضور داشتند.، انتخاب شدند.نتايج نشان داد تفاوت ميانگين سه گروه رانندگان در ميزان هيجان خواهي ومقياس با ساختار- منعطف از تيپ شخصيتمعني دار بوده ولي در ساير مقياس هاي اين آزمون تفاوتي معنا داري وجود نداشت.

The main purpose of this study, conducted in Shahrekord, is to explore the relationship between drivers’ personal characteristics andpersonality type, according to the Big Five personality traits and Myers-Briggs Type test respectively and their accident history. This post-event survey is a casual-comparative one and has been carried out on drivers of Shahrekord (driving as a job). Statistical population includes three 30-member groups. The first group were drivers who have not had accident. The second were those who have had accident once or twice. The third group have had accident more than two times. All of them were randomly chosen among clients of the traffic police, drivers association or were encountered at terminals in the latter half of 2013. Results of multivariate analysis showed that the means of the drivers who have not had accident and those who have had accident once or twice, or those who have had accident more than twice differed radically at Neuroticism and agreeableness scale of the Big Five personality traits. That is to say that the drivers who were more involved in accidents were more neurotic but less agreeable. And Myers-Briggs test they were less judging and more perceptive. There were no radical differences at other scales
