Measuring Growth Rate of Factor Productivity under the Imperfect Competition Structure (Case Study of Iran Manufacturing Industries)

هدف محوري اين مقاله سنجش بهره وري كل عوامل توليد(TFP) در صنايع كارخانه ايي ايران با استفاده از پسماند سولو در شرايط رقابت ناقص و بازده غيرثابت نسبت به مقياس است. از اين رو در اين مقاله از رويكرد يانگ و سي براي برآورد TFP روش هال و راجر در صنايع كد دو رقمي ISIC استفاده شده است. يافته هاي تحقيق نشان مي دهد كه صنايع محصولات كاني غيرفلزي، ساخت فلزات اساسي، محصولات فلزي فابريكي بجز ماشين آلات و تجهيزات و صنايع مواد غذايي و آشاميدني بيشترينTFP براساس رويكرد راجر را داشته اند. همچنين صنايع توليد ساير تجهيزات حمل ونقل، توليد راديو، تلويزيون و وسايل ارتباطي و آپارات، ابزارپزشكي، اپتيكي، ابزاردقيق، ساعتهاي مچي و انواع ديگر ساعت و ماشين آلات و دستگاههاي برقي كمترين TFP را در صنايع كارخانه اي ايران دارا بوده اند.

The main objective of this study is to measure the total factor productivity (TFP) in Iran manufacturing industries using the Solowʹs Residual under conditions of the imperfect competition market and non-constant return to scale. Hence, the study has employed the Young and Hsieh approach in order to estimate the TFP of Hall- Roeger technique in 2-digit ISIC Code level. The findings indicate that Manufacture of Non-Metallic Mineral Products; Manufacture of basic metals; Manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment and finally manufacture of Food, Beverages have had the highest level of TFP given the Hall- Roeger technique. This is while the Manufacture of transport equipment; radio, television and communications equipment and apparatus; Manufacture of medical, precision and optical instruments, watches-clocks and other watches and eventually Manufacture of electrical machinery and apparatus have had the lowest level of TFP in the Iranian Industries.
