Is Islamic Psychology Possible?

آيا طرح رويكرد يا مكتبي جديد در روان شناسي با عنوان «روان شناسي اسلامي»، با توجه به مباني علمي، روش شناختي و فلسفي ممكن است؟ براي پاسخ به اين سوال بايد ابتدا با توجه به تحول تعاريف روان شناسي، وجود تبيين هاي متفاوت از رفتار، جهت گيري هاي روشيِ گوناگون، و با تاكيد بر پيچيدگي واقعيت، امكان شناسايي و طرح موضوع جديد و اتخاذ سمت گيريِ روشي و نظريِ تازه را بررسي كرد. مولف با تامل در مولفه هاي فوق و طرح رويكردهاي علم شناختي، به نقد ديدگاهي پرداخته است كه مدعي است علم با پديده هاي عريان سروكار دارد. آنگاه مي كوشد با روش مقبول جامعه علمي، فرضيه هاي خود را به آزمون بگذارد و يافته ها را از حريم خودِ رواني، ديني، فرهنگي و فلسفي به حريم مشترك بين آدميان بكشاند. مقاله در ادامه به بررسي سه روندي كه از پيش فرض هاي اسلامي يا بومي متاثر است، پرداخته و در پايان براي گسترش تحقيقات روان شناسي با ديدگاه هاي بومي و اسلامي پيشنهادهايي را عرضه كرده است.

Is it possible to present a new approach or school in psychology entitled ûIslamic Psychology‎ in view of scientific, methodological and philosophical grounds? To answer this question, one should study the various explanations regarding behavior, various orientations in method, the possibility of recognition of this new subject and taking methodological and theoretical orientation in terms of developments in definitions on psychology. Contemplating on the aforementioned components and taking scientific approaches to the problem in question, the writer makes some critical remarks on the view that science is concerned with brute facts. He tries to put his hypotheses to the test in accordance with the established scientific method and extends the findings in realms of psychological, religious, cultural and philosophical ûself‎ into the realm common for all human beings. The article goes on to discuss the three prevailing trends influenced by Islamic presuppositions and finally advances some suggestions for the developments in psychological researches in terms of domestic and Islamic views.
