تحليلي بر چرايي اصرار مامون و انكار امام رضا(ع) در ماجراي ولايتعهدي

An Analysis on al-Maʹʹmunʹʹs Insist and Imam Rezaʹʹs Denial over the Issue of Succession to Caliphate

ماجراي ولايتعهدي امام رضا(ع) در دربار عباسيان مهم‌ترين رخداد سياسي است كه براي اوّلين و آخرين بار در تاريخ سياسي ايمه(ع) رقم خورد. مامون، خلافتي را كه حاصل سال‌ها تلاش و مبارزه آبا و اجدادش بوده و خود نيز براي دستيابي به آن از ريختن خون برادرش دريغ نكرده بود، با كمترين هزينه به اصرار و تهديد، تقديمِ بزرگ‌ترين رقيب خانداني‌اش ساخت. او نيز كه سال‌ها آبا و اجدادش براي دستيابي به اين خلافت از هيچ تلاش مشروعي فروگذار نبودند، از پذيرش آن استنكاف مي‌ورزد. اين رخداد فرضيه‌هاي مختلفي را در ذهن بسياري از پژوهشگران ايجاد نمود. مقاله حاضر پس از تبيين فرضيه‌ سياسي و بررسي اقوالي كه انديشه اعتزالي يا شيعي به مامون نسبت داده‌اند، با تبييني اجمالي از مسيله امامت در دو ديدگاه تشيع و اعتزال، جريان ولايتعهدي را از انحصار انگيزه‌هاي سياسي خارج ساخته و باورهاي اعتقادي طرفين را در كنار مواضع سياسي آنان، به‌عنوان عاملي تاثيرگذار در اصرار و انكار آنها معرفي مي‌سازد.

The issue of Imam Rezaʹs succession to Caliphate in Abbasid Court was the most important political matter ever happened during the political history of the Imams. Al-Maʹmun offered the caliphate seat, for which his ancestors fought and struggled for many years and he willingly killed his own brother to have, to his familyʹs rival through insist and threats and without any price to pay. Despite his ancestorsʹ legitimate struggle to take back this seat, Imam Reza refused to accept the succession. This event brought up different assumptions for many researchers. With a political hypothesis and exploring some opinions that attribute Muʹtazilites or Shiite notions to al-Maʹmun, an with a brief eye on the issue of Imamate from the Shiite and Muʹtazilites points of view, this paper examines the succession issue outside the boundaries of political motivations and introduces the religious beliefs of the both parties involved as well as their political stands as effective factors in their insists and denials over the issue.
