شيعه براي تفسير اهل بيت: اهميت فراواني قايل است و سخن آنان در تبيين قرآن را، هم پايه سخن رسول خدا9 مي‌داند؛ اما رويكرد اهل سنت نسبت به تفسير آنان چگونه است؟ به بياني ديگر، اهل بيت: چه تاثيري بر تفسير اهل سنت گذاشته‌اند؟ از آنجا كه ميزان اقبال و تاثيرپذيري اهل سنت از اهل بيت: در تفاسير روايي آشكار است؛ ما نيز به بررسي تفسير روايي شواهد التنزيل لقواعد التفضيل پرداختيم. زيرا يك تفسير موضوعي درباره اهل بيت: است و از اين منظر، شاخص و ممتاز مي‌باشد.درهمين راستا علاوه بر بيان ويژگيهاي مهم تفسير شواهدالتنزيل، به بررسي تعداد رواياتي كه قول و فعل ايمه: است نيز پرداخته شده است.نتيجه به دست آمده نشان مي‌دهدكه ميزان روايات تفسيري اهل بيت:در تفسير شواهد، بسيار بيشتر از ميزان آن در مجموع صحاح شش‌گانه مي‌باشد.همچنين مولف اين كتاب به عنوان يك مفسّر اهل سنت، اهميت و اعتبار فراواني براي تفسير اهل بيت:قايل است.

The Sh?‘as give a great importance to the interpretation by the Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) and regard their words in the explanation of the Qur’?n identical to the words of the Apostle of Allah (S.A.W.). But what is the Sunn?’s attitude towards their interpretation? In other words, how have the Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) affected the Sunn?’s interpretation of the Qur’?n? Since the degree of reception and impressionability of the Sunn?s from the Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) in narrational interpretation is obvious, we have examined here the narrational interpretation of Shaw?hid al-Tanz?l li Qaw?’id al-Taf??l, because it is a thematic interpretation about the Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) and an outstanding and premium in this respect. Thereby, besides stating the significant features of the interpretation of Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.), we have also studied a number of traditions that are the words and actions of the Imams (A.S.). The conclusion arrived at shows that the number of the exegetical traditions of the Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) in Shaw?hid al-Tanz?l li Qaw?’id al-Taf??l is far more than its number in all the six ?i???s (?i??? al-Sitta). Also, as a Sunn? author, the writer of this tafs?r gives a great importance and validity to the Ahl al-Bayt’s (A.S.) interpretation.
