روايات معصومان(ع) در فرآيند درك درست آيات قرآن و راهيابي به مدلول كلام الهي نقش مهمي دارد. اما اين منبع ديني در طول تاريخ پر فراز و نشيب خود با آسيب‌هاي گوناگوني روبرو شده كه بر اصالت آن تاثير گذاشته است و علي‌رغم تلاش‌هاي فراواني كه از عالمان فريقين براي پالايش حديث به عمل آمده، هنوز هم در منابع روايي وتفسيري، روايات صحيح و سقيم با هم آميخته است .اينجاست كه شناخت آسيب‌هاي حديث‌ـ هم به لحاظ سندي و هم به لحاظ متني‌ـ ضرورت پيدا مي‌كند . دو رويكرد اساسي نقد سندي و نقد متني در بررسي اعتبار و حجيت احاديث وجود دارد. نكته ديگر آنكه شناخت سنت معتبر و اصيل از روايات نامعتبر بايد در پرتو ضوابط و معيار‌هاي علمي صورت گيرد. در ميان دانشمندان، ملاك‌هاي متعددي براي شناسايي احاديث ساختگي، از لحاظ محتوا، مطرح بوده است كه عمده‌ترين آن‌ها، مخالفت حديث با قرآن و سنت قطعي، عدم موافقت با اجماع اماميه، ناسازگاري با ادله عقلي، مسلمات علمي وحقايق تاريخي است. تفسير نورالثقلين عروسي حويزي، از جمله تفاسير ماثوري است كه به دليل غلبه روح اخباريگري در آن ،از پديده احاديث ضعيف و در مواردي اندك جعلي مصون نمانده است و اكثراً مولف آن، ضمن نقل روايات ضعيف، بدون هيچ‌گونه اظهار نظري، از كنار آن‌ها گذشته است. لذا انتخاب اين تفسير و به كارگيري معيار‌هاي نقد حديث در سنجش روايات آن مي‌تواند ميزان اعتبار يا عدم اعتبار روايات اين كتاب را بهتر بنماياند.

Narrationsfrom the Infallibles play an important rolein the process of understanding the Quranic verses soundly and gaining access to signification of Godʹs word. However, this religious resource has experienced various damages in its history of ups and downs that have affected its authenticity. Despite the ample efforts made by bothShiʹite and Sunni scholarsto refine hadiths, the sound and unsound narrations are still mixedin the narrational and interpretational resources. Hence, taking cognizance of hadithvulnerabilities, in terms of both documentation and text, is necessary. There are two basic approaches for textual anddocumentationalcriticism in examining the validity and authenticity of hadiths. Since discrimination of authentic and genuine narrationsfromthe invalid ones needs to be made on the basis of scientific criteria, scholars have utilized various criteria to identify false narrations in terms of content. The most important of the criteria are inconsistency of hadith with the Qurʹanand true Sunnah, disagreement with Shiite consensus, and incompatibility with rational reasons, scientific certainties and historical truths. Arusi Huveyzy’s Nur al-Saqalein Interpretationis among thenarrational interpretationswhich has not been immune from false hadiths due tothe prevalence of the spirit of Traditionisminit, and its author has mentioned weak narrations without commenting on them. Therefore,picking up this interpretation work and application of the hadith criticism criteria in evaluating its narrations canbetter reveal thevalidity or invalidity of the narrations of the book.
