كشورها در پرتو شناسایی و عملیاتی ساختن مؤلفه‌های قدرت در سطوح ملی و بین‌المللی،‌ سعی در كسب منزلت و پرستیژ بین‌المللی دارند و از آنجایی كه تحول گفتمانی قدرت و رویكرد نوین كشورها در عرصه سیاست خارجی به ابزار قدرت،‌ اهمیت قدرت نرم را دو چندان ساخته است، جمهوری اسلامی ایران نیاز دارد مؤلفه‌های تولیدكننده قدرت نرم خویش را مورد بررسی قرار دهد و با سیاستگذاری‌های مناسب، نفوذ و اقتدار بین‌المللی خویش را بیفزاید. یكی از مؤلفه‌های تأثیرگذار بر قدرت نرم ایران در سطح ملی و بین‌المللی، الهام بخشی می‌باشد كه بعد از انقلاب اسلامی مورد توجه دولتمردان ایرانی بوده است و در اسناد فرادستی جمهوری اسلامی ایران مورد تأكید قرار گرفته است. بنابراین مقاله حاضر سعی دارد به بررسی مؤلفه‌های الهام بخش جمهوری اسلامی بپردازد و تأثیر آن را بر ارتقاء قدرت نرم ارزیابی نماید و به‌صورت موردی، سیاست های كلی برنامه ششم توسعه را بررسی نماید. در همین راستا،‌ با بهره‌گیری از روش تحلیل محتوای كیفی سعی می‌گردد به این سوال پاسخ داده شود كه، مؤلفه‌های الهام بخشی جمهوری اسلامی ایران در سیاست‌های كلی برنامه ششم توسعه كه در حفظ و ارتقاء قدرت نرم جامعه ایرانی موثر هستند، كدامند و چگونه بر توانمندی نرم‌افزاری ایران می‌افزایند؟ یافته‌های مقاله نشان می‌دهند كه الهام بخشی انقلاب اسلامی و به تبع آن جمهوری اسلامی ایران اشاره به گزینش سیاست‌های مسالمت‌‎آمیز و نرم‌افزاری دارد كه مترصد ترویج و اشاعه ارزش‌ها،‌ مبانی و اهداف انقلاب اسلامی و جامعه ایرانی در كشورهای منطقه و جهان اسلام می‌باشد و در عین حال، ارتباط معناداری بین مؤلفه‌های الهام بخشی ایران در جهان اسلام با قدرت نرم وجود دارد و مؤلفه‌های الهام بخشی در سیاست های كلی این برنامه شامل: توسعه دانایی محور، ارزش‌ها و مبانی انقلاب اسلامی، ارائه سبك زندگی اسلامی- ایرانی، فرهنگ و معارف دینی، توسعه هویت اسلامی- ایرانی، علم و فناوری می‌شود كه توانمندی و ظرفیت قدرت نرم جامعه ایرانی را در جهان اسلام ارتقاء می‌دهند.
