The Governmental Sirah (Biographical Tradition) of Imam Ali (Peace Be upon Him) in Confronting Opponents

دوران پنج ساله خلافت امام علي? داراي ويژگي هاي خاصي است. وقوع حوادث بزرگ در پايان خلافت عثمان و چند سال خلافت امام علي? باعث شده است از سوي بعضي از محققين به عنوان دوران فتنه ناميده شود. افراد و جريان هاي تاثيرگذار در اين حوادث هر يك با انگيزه هاي خاصي وارد وقايع شده و نقش ويژه‌اي در آفرينش آن ايفا نموده‌اند. دسته بندي مخالفان و عملكرد آنان در برابر حكومت امام علي? علل و انگيزه هاي مخالفت آنان كه به طور عمده عدول از موازين و معيارهاي اسلامي را نشان مي دهد و نيز رفتار امام? در برابر آنان در اين مقاله مورد توجه قرار گرفته و كوشش شده است با بررسي موارد مذكور زواياي جديدي از حوادث دوران فتنه مورد ارزيابي قرار گيرد. اقدامات امام علي? بيشتر شامل راهنمايي و توجيه مخالفان، عدم اجبارآنان، منزوي كردن و بي اعتنايي به آنان است. در موارد خاص بسته به شرايط و نوع مخالفت ها برخورد قهرآميز صورت گرفته است.

The Caliphate (khilafah) and Imamate of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) for 5 years has specific features. The great occurrences at the end of Caliphate (khilafah) of Uthman and some years of the Caliphate (khilafah) and Imamate of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) is called the period of fitnah(civil strife). Persons and effective currents in these happenings entered with specific intentions and motivations and played a specific role in its creation. Classifying opponents and their action against the government of Imam Ali (Peace Be upon Him) reveals purposes and motivations of their objection which are chiefly deviation from the Islamic rules and criteria and also the behavior of Imam Ali (Peace Be upon Him) against them has been explored by this paper. It has been tried with studying the mentioned cases to evaluate the new angles of called the period of fitnah(civil strife). The actions of Imam Ali (Peace be upon him) mostly included the opponentsʹ guidance and Justification, not using coercion, isolating opponents and not regarding them. A violent confrontation has been formed in special cases depending to the conditions and the form of opposition.
