روش‌شناسي مهدويت‌پژوهي _ كه از جمله مسايل مهم فلسفه مهدويت‌پژوهي است _ با رويكرد اكتشافي و هنجاري به شناسايي و كاربست روش‌ها در حوزه مهدويت‌پژوهي مي‌پردازد. از آن‌جا كه مهدويت‌پژوهي موضوعي پيچيده و داراي ابعاد گوناگون و گسترده است، ضروري است براي كاوش با روش‌هايي متناسب و درخور در همه ابعاد و اضلاع اين حوزه، حوزه‌هاي مختلف علوم با روش‌هاي گوناگون در خدمت مهدويت‌پژوهي و مسايل فراوان آن قرار گيرند؛ ولي بي‌گمان به سبب گستردگي بحث و پيچيدگي موضوع، نمي‌توان همه روش‌ها و اسلوب مطروحه در حوزه پژوهش را در يك تحقيق، مورد بحث و گفت‌وگو قرار داد. از اين‌رو در اين نوشتار، تنها به يك روش، يعني روش شهودي و فطري كه روشي درخور اعتنا در اين عرصه بوده و مسايلي چون انتظار و اثبات منجي و ظهور منجي را توجيه‌پذير مي‌كند، پرداخته مي‌شود.

Methodology of Research on Mahdi - which is one of the most important challenges of philosophy of Research on Mahdi – deals identification and application of methods in the field of Research on Mahdi with an exploratory and normative approach. Since Research on Mahdi is very complicated and has different dimensions and is broad, it is essential to explore ways to fit in all dimensions and aspects of the field, with different methods in different areas that can be of service to Research on Mahdi and its many issues. However, certainly due to the extent and complexity of the issue, not all the methods and techniques outlined in research are to be discussed in this single paper. Therefore, in this paper, one method, which is the intuitive and natural method is of obvious importance in this area. The issues such as expectancy and demonstration of the Redeemer and Saviour as warranted, will be discussed according to these methods
