همبستگي تصوير ذهني با نااميدي در بيماران 10 الي 21 سال مبتلا به تالاسمي ماژور شهركرد

چكيده سابقه و هدف تالاسمي، نوعي كم خوني است كه فرد در اثر بيماري دچار تغيير شكل صورت و اندام‌ها مي‌شود و تصوير ذهني بدي از خود پيدا مي‌كند كه مي‌تواند خطر بروز نااميدي را افزايش دهد. اخيراً وضعيت سلامت رواني اين بيماران، مورد توجه مسيولين بهداشتي قرار گرفته است. اين پژوهش با هدف بررسي همبستگي تصوير ذهني با نااميدي در بيماران10 الي 21 سال مبتلا به تالاسمي ماژور در شهركرد انجام شد. مواد و روش‌ها در اين مطالعه توصيفي - همبستگي، جامعه مورد مطالعه بيماران 10 الي 21 سال مبتلا به تالاسمي ماژور مراجعه‌كننده به مراكز درماني بيمارستان‌هاي آموزشي وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشكي شهركرد در سال 1393 بودند. 110 بيمار مبتلا به تالاسمي ماژور در مطالعه شركت كردند و تصوير ذهني و نااميدي آنان توسط پرسشنامه تصوير ذهني آفر و پرسشنامه نااميدي بك سنجيده شد. نتايج با استفاده از ضريب همبستگي اسپيرمن، t مستقل و من‌ويتني‌يو تجزيه و تحليل شدند. يافته‌ها نتايج حاكي از اين بود كه 7/66% اين بيماران، تصوير ذهني متوسط و 3/37% آن‌ها تا حدودي نااميدي، داشتند. با ضريب همبستگي 554/0 و 001/0p < ، بين ميانگين تصوير ذهني و نااميدي ارتباط آماري معناداري وجود داشت. نتيجه گيري برنامه‌ريزي به منظور ارتقا سطح آگاهي، شركت در كلاس‌ها و ارايه خدمات مشاوره روان پرستاري، برنامه‌هاي آموزشي و مشاوره‌اي صدا و سيما در كنار ارايه خدمات كلينيكي و درماني، جهت بيماران مبتلا به تالاسمي ماژور داراي اهميت مي‌باشد.

Abstract Background and Objectives Thalassemia is a kind of anemia that causes the patientʹs malformation of face and lips. As a result, the patientʹs mental image will be distorted, which can increase the risk for hopelessness among the patients. Recently‚ research efforts have started to be conducted on the patients’ mental health conditions to which the health officials are urged to attend. The present article studied the correlation between mental image and hopelessness in 10-21 year old patients who suffer from major thalassemia in Shahrekord. Materials and Methods In this correlational-descriptive study, the subject community included those 10-21 year old patients with major thalassemia who had referred to teaching universities of Shahrekord University of Medical University; 110 patients participated in the study and their mental image and hopelessness were both measured via two distinctive questionnaires (the Offer self-image and the Beck hopelessness scale). The data were gathered, analyzed, and investigated using parametric and non-parametric methods. Results The findings indicated that 66.7% of the patients had average mental image and 37.3% were somehow hopeless. Thus, there was a significant correlation between the mental image average and that of hopelessness (r = 0.554, p < 0.001). Conclusions To help these kind of patients overcome their problems, it is necessary to improve their awareness level by (1) providing nursing and psychosis consultative services and the related training courses (2) broadcasting training and consultative programs on radio and TV channels, and (3) offering remedial-clinical services.
