نقش كتابخانه‌هاي عمومي شهرستان كرمان در توسعه فرهنگ مطالعه كاربران

The Role of public libraries of Kerman Region in Promoting Usersʹʹ Reading Culture

هدف: پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسي نقش كتابخانه هاي عمومي شهرستان كرمان در توسعه سه لايه فرهنگ مطالعه كاربران انجام شد. روش: روش پژوهش پيمايشي و ابزار گردآوري داده ها، پرسشنامه محقق‌ساخته بود. جامعه آماري شامل كليه اعضاي معتبر داراي سن 15 سال و بيشتر كتابخانه هاي عمومي درجه 4 و بالاتر شهرستان كرمان تا پايان شهريورماه 1392 بود. حجم نمونه 373 نفر تعيين شد. براي آزمون فرضيه ها از آزمون تي يك نمونه، اندازه هاي تكراري، تي دو نمونه مستقل و تحليل واريانس يك طرفه استفاده شد. يافته‌ها: نقش كتابخانه هاي عمومي شهرستان كرمان در توسعه لايه باورها و جلوه ها بالاتر از حد متوسط و در توسعه لايه قواعد در حد متوسط بود. به طور كلي، نقش اين كتابخانه ها در توسعه فرهنگ مطالعه كاربران خود كمتر از حد مطلوب (80 درصد) بود. بين ميانگين نمرات حاصل از نقش كتابخانه‌هاي عمومي شهرستان كرمان در توسعه لايه باورها و جلوه ها تفاوت معني‌داري وجود نداشت، اما بين ميانگين نمرات نقش اين كتابخانه ها در توسعه لايه قواعد با دو لايه باورها و جلوه ها تفاوت معني‌دار وجود داشت. همچنين بين ميانگين نمرات حاصل از نقش كتابخانه هاي عمومي شهرستان كرمان بر اساس متغير جنسيت، گروه هاي سني و مدارك تحصيلي كاربران تفاوت معني‌داري مشاهده نگرديد. اصالت/ارزش: تا كنون به ندرت پژوهشي در زمينه نقش كتابخانه هاي عمومي در توسعه فرهنگ مطالعه انجام شده است. در اين پژوهش براي فرهنگ مطالعه سه لايه باورها، قواعد و هنجارها در نظر گرفته شده است و نقش كتابخانه هاي عمومي در توسعه هر يك از اين سه لايه بررسي گرديد.

Purpose: The research aims at the investigation of the role of the public libraries of Kerman region in promoting three layers of usersʹ reading culture, consist of observable behaviors and artifacts, espoused believes and values, and basic underlying assumptions. Methodology: The research was done through a survey method. The data were collected by a researcher-made questionnaire composed specifically for this study. The population included up to 15 years old users of public libraries of Kerman with grade 4 and above (public libraries in Iran have 1-9 grades that grade 1 libraries, for example, have the best standards among others). The sample of this research was 373 user. One sample T test, repeated measures, independent-sample T test and ANOVA were used to test the hypotheses. Findings: The results showed that the score of the role of the public libraries of Kerman on promoting the two layers of basic “underlying assumptions” and “observable behaviors and artifacts” was more than average and the layer of “espoused believes and values” was around the average. Overall, on the view points of users, these libraries have not a needful potential to promote the reading culture of users in the desired level. Public libraries of Kerman Region have not significantly different effect on promotion of “underlying assumptions” and “observable behaviors and artifacts” among users. But, based on view points of users, public libraries have significantly different effect on promoting the layer of “espoused believes and values” of users. Ultimately, there was no significant difference between responses of users According to gender, age, and degrees of education variables. Originality/Value: Very rare researches were applied on the role of public libraries on promoting the reading culture of library users and there is no research about public libraries specifically by emphasis on three layers introduced with Edgar Schein.
