Studying the Designs and Types of Luster Tiles of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza Preserved at The Central Museum of Astan Quds Razavi

كاشي‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌هاي زرين‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌فام حرم مطهر امام رضا عليه‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌السلام، با قدمت بيش از هشتصد‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌سال، كهن‏ترين تزيينات معماري در اين مجموعه به‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌شمار مي‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌آيد. اين كاشي‏ها كه در قالب محراب‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌هاي زرين‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌فام و ازاره‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌هاي حرم مطهر به‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌كار رفته‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌و با نقوش گياهي و خطوط تزييني آراسته شده‏اند، از نظر نوع و نقش در چهار دسته ناوداني، نيم‏ستوني، قالبي برجسته، و ستاره‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌اي و هشت‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ضلعي قابل طبقه‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌بندي‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌اند. مضمون كتيبه‏هاي اين كاشي‏ها شامل آيات و احاديث، نام سازندگان، تاريخ ساخت، باني و به‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ندرت اشعار است. در اين مقاله با مطالعه آثار موجود در موزه، بهره‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌گيري از منابع مكتوب و مطالعات كتابخانه‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌اي و اسنادي، اين موضوع مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است. اهداف مقاله 1- مطالعه نوع و نقش كاشي‌هاي زرين‏فام 2- بررسي موضوع كتيبه‌هاي كاشي‌هاي زرين‏فام سوالات مقاله 1- انواع كاشي‌هاي زرين‌فام حرم حضرت رضا عليه‌السلام و موضوع كتيبه‌هاي نقش شده برآن كدامند؟ 2- تزيينات ازاره حرم مطهر از قرن هفتم هجري تاكنون چه تغييرات و تعميراتي داشته است؟

Imam Reza Holy Shrineʹs robust architecture which treasures a variety of lustre tiles can be counted as a museum of architectural decoration in the Islamic world during the last millennium. The luster tiles with over 800 years of antiquity, are the oldest designed object in this collection. The type and pattern of these tiles are divided into four groups: studs, half columns, outstanding template and star-shaped octagonal, which are designed with herbal and decorative line patterns. Scroll contents include Qutanic verses and Ahadith of Holy Imams, artists name, date of production, its patron and very rarely, poems. In the book “The History of Astan Quds Razavi" the author had mentioned the historical luster tiles and other researchers in this field had also written some articles about these antique masterpieces and their patrons by relying on the historical texts. This article has been compiled to study the types and patterns of luster tiles and its inscriptions; furthermore, it aims to study written sources in the library and archives while reviewing available artifacts in the museums. Aims: 1- Studying the types and patterns of lustre tiles 2- Investigating the themes and context of the tiles Research Questions: 1- What are the types of lustre tiles of Imam Reza’s shrone and what are meanings behind the inscriptions?
