مقايسه سطح ليپيدهاي سرم در بيماران دچار تكمه پوستي با افراد سالم

Comparison of Serum Lipid Levels in Skin Tag Affected Patients with Healthy Individuals

مقدمه و هدف: تكمه پوستي يا skin tag ضايعه كوچك، نرم و پايه داري است كه معمولاً در نواحي چين‌دار پوست مانند گردن و زير بغل ايجاد مي شود. در مطالعات متعددي ارتباط بين تكمه هاي پوستي با ديس ليپيدمي گزارش شده است. اين مطالعه با هدف مقايسه سطح ليپيدهاي سرم در افراد مبتلا به تكمه پوستي با افراد سالم انجام گرفت. روش كار: در اين مطالعه مورد-شاهدي، پروفايل ليپيد ](سطح سرمي كلسترول تام، تري گليسريد،(LDL) low density lipoprotein و high density lipoprotein (HDL) [ 49 نفر مبتلا به تكمه هاي پوستي مراجعه كننده به درمانگاه پوست بيمارستان فرشچيان همدان با پروفايل ليپيد 49 نفر از افرادي كه به عللي غير از تكمه پوستي به اين مركز مراجعه نموده بودند مورد مقايسه قرار گرفت. داده هاي مربوطه پس از گردآوري با نرم افزار SPSS16 مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفت. نتايج: ميانگين سطح سرمي كلسترول تام، تري گليسريد، LDL و HDL در گروه بيماران به طور معنا داري بيشتر از گروه شاهدبود (P < 0.05). نتيجه نهايي: اين مطالعه نشان داد كه وجود تكمه هاي پوستي مي تواند با افزايش سطح ليپيدهاي سرم مرتبط باشد. پيشنهاد مي شود پزشكان هنگام مواجهه با اين ضايعات پوستي احتمال وجود ديس ليپيدمي را در فرد بيمار مد نظر داشته باشند.

Introduction & Objective: Skin tag is a soft, small and pedunculated lesion that is usually located on the skin folds like neck and axilla. The relationship between skin tags and dyslipidemia has been reported in several studies. This study was conducted with the aim of comparing serum lipid levels in skin tag affected subjects with healthy individuals. Materials & Methods: In this case-control study, lipid profile (serum levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein (LDL) and high density lipoprotein (HDL)) of skin tag affected patients presenting to dermatology clinic of Farshchian hospital (Hamadan, Iran) was compared with lipid profile of individuals presenting to the same clinic for the reasons other than skin tags. All the data collected were analyzed with SPSS16 software. Results: In this study, lipid profile of 49 skin tag affected individuals was compared with lipid profile of 49 individuals not affected by such lesion. Mean serum levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL and HDL were significantly higher in the affected group in comparison to control group (P < 0.05). Conclusions: This study showed that the presence of skin tags could be related to increased lev-els of serum lipids. It is recommended that physicians consider the possibility of dyslipidemia in patients presenting with these skin lesions. (Sci J Hamadan Univ Med Sci 2016; 23 (1):34-39)
