Psychometric Properties of the Persian Version of the Relationship Assessment Scale among Couples

نسخه فارسي مقياس سنجش رابطه انجام شـد. بدين منظور نمونـه اي شـامـل 315 نفر (116 مرد و 199 زن) از افراد متاهل ساكن شهر تهران با استفاده از روش نمونه گيري داوطلبانه انتخاب شدند كه به مقياس هاي سنجش رابطه، رضايت زناشويي كانزاس، رضايت از زندگي و پرسشنامه شادكامي آكسفورد پاسخ دادند. نتايج تحليل عاملي اكتشافي و تاييدي نشان داد كه ساختار عاملي مقياس سنجش رابطه تك عاملي است. همساني دروني مقياس در كل نمونه برابر با 88/0 بود.همبستگي معنا دار بين نمرات مقياس سنجش رابطه با نمرات مقياس رضايت زناشويي كانزاس، رضايت از زندگي و شادكامي آكسفورد بيانگر روايي همگراي مناسب مقياس بود. هم چنين نتايج پژوهش نشان داد كه بين ميانگين نمرات رضايت رابطه مردان و زنان تفاوت معناداري وجود ندارد. نتايج نشان داد كه اين مقياس، ابزاري معتبر و روا در اندازه گيري رضايت زناشويي است.

This research administrated to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Persian version of Relationship Assessment scale. Therefore, 315 married individuals (199 women and 116 men) from Tehran city were volunteered to respond to four scales: the Relationship Assessment, the Kansas Marital Satisfaction, the Oxford Happiness and the Life Satisfaction. Results from exploratory & confirmatory factor analysis showed that factor structure of Relationship Assessment scale was unidimensional. The internal consistency of the scale in the total sample was 0.88. Significant correlations between scores of the Relationship Assessment scale with the scores of the Kansas Marital Satisfaction Scale, the Life Satisfaction Scale and the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire demonstrated good convergent validity of the scale. Also, the results showed that there was no significant gender difference between the mean scores of relationship satisfaction. In conclusion, the Relationship Assessment scale is a valid and reliable tool to measure marital satisfaction in Iran.
