تأثير آموزش بر آگاهي و نگرش مادران در مورد سالك در مشهد

Effect of the educational interventions on mothersʹ knowledge and attitude towards cutaneous leishmaniasis in Mashhad

زمینه و هدف: كمبود اطلاعات مادران در زمینه‌ی راه‌های پیشگیری از سالك در ابتلا به این بیماری نقش مهمی دارد، لذا اقدامات پیش‌گیرانه زمانی مؤثر خواهد بود كه مادران آگاهی لازم و نگرش مثبت درخصوص بیماری و نحوه‌ی پیش‌گیری از آن‌را داشته باشند. مطالعه‌ی حاضر با هدف بررسی تأثیر مداخله‌ی آموزش بر آگاهی و نگرش مادران این منطقه در زمینه‌ی سالك و راه‌های پیشگیری از آن انجام گرفت. روش اجرا: مطالعه‌ی حاضر مطالعه‌ای نیمه‌تجربی بود. 120 نفر زن متأهل بالای 15 سال كه در سال 1388 به مركز بهداشتی ـ درمانی آب و برق شهر مشهد مراجعه كرده بودند در سه گروه سخنرانی، بحث گروهی و شاهد، مورد پژوهش قرار گرفتند. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها پرسش‌نامه‌ی تدوین‌شده توسط پژوهشگر بود. ارزیابی اثر مداخله‌ی آموزشی در زمان‌های قبل، بلافاصله بعد و یك ماه بعد از آموزش انجام گرفت. یافته‌ها: میانگین امتیاز آگاهی قبل از آموزش در بین سه گروه مورد مطالعه تفاوت معنی‌دار نداشت (71/0=P) ولی بلافاصله و یك ماه بعد از مداخله‌ی آموزشی اختلاف معنی‌داری میان سه گروه در میانگین امتیاز آگاهی وجود داشت (001/0=P). هم‌چنین، تفاوت معنی‌داری در امتیاز نمره‌ی نگرش بین دو گروه سخنرانی و بحث وجود داشته و اختلاف معنی‌داری در میانگین امتیاز نگرش بعد از مداخله نسبت به قبل از مداخله مشاهده شد (001/0=P). نتیجه‌گیری: به‌طور كلی یافته‌های حاصل از این مطالعه نشان داد كه آموزش فردی و گروهی برای مادران بر دانش و نگرش آن‌ها مؤثر است؛ از این‌رو ارائه‌ی برنامه‌ی آموزش بهداشت هم‌چون بحث گروهی و سخنرانی توصیه می‌گردد. با توجه به افزایش بازده‌ی آموزشی در روش بحث گروهی، این روش جهت ماندگاری بیشتر اثرات آموزش بر آگاهی و نگرش مادران توصیه می‌گردد.

Background and Aim: Lack of information on how to protect and prevent cutaneos leishmaniasis plays an important role in the susceptibility to the disease. Therefore, preventive measures will be effective if the parents have awareness about the disease. This study was aimed to invetigate the effects of educational interventions on mother’s knowledge and attitude towards cutaneous leishmaniasis. Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, 120 married women who were 15 years of age or older and were referred to Ab-o-Bargh Health Center in Mashhad were recruited. The participants were divided into three groups: participation in an educational lecture, participation in an educational group discussion session, and a control, non-intervention group. A researcher-developed questionnaire including questions on demographic data, and developed knowledge and attitude towards cutaneous leishmaniasis were used for data gathering. The evaluation of educational intervention effects were assessed before, immediately after the interventions, and one month after the educational interventions. Results: Before the intervention, there was no significant difference in the mean of awareness scores between the three groups (P=0.71). However, there was a significant difference in awareness scores between the three groups immediately after the intervention. The observed scores did not change significantly after one month (P=0.001). Also, there was there was a significant difference in the rate of attitude score towards cutaneous leishmaniasis after the intervention between three groups (P=0.001). Conclusion: Individual and group educational interventions regarding cutaneous leishmaniasis were effective to increase the knowledge and improve the attitude of the participants towards the disease. We recommend to apply effective educational interventions like group discussions to improve the mothersʹ knowledge and their insights about cutaneous leishmaniasis.
