تبيين و تحليل روايي فضيلت اخلاقي صبر در نهج‌البلاغه

Ethical Virtue of Patience in Nahj al-Bal?ghah

پايداري و شكيبايي در مقابل سختي‌‌ها را «صبر» گويند و اگر براي رضاي خداوند متعال و تسليم امر او باشد، درجهت پيشبرد تقواي الهي موثر بوده و فضيلت محسوب مي‌شود. حضرت اميرالمومنين علي‌بن‌ابي‌طالب?در نهج‌البلاغه از «فضيلت صبر» به‌عنوان مدير، رييس و مركز كنترل ايمان نام مي‌برند: «فَاِنَّ الصَّبْرَ مِنَ الْاِيمَانِ كَالرَّاْسِ مِنَ الْجَسَدِ»؛ صبر براي ايمان مانند سر است براي بدن. (سيدرضي، 1379: حكمت82 ،640) علماي علم اخلاق «صبر» را سكان و هدايتگر همه فضايل اخلاقي دانسته‌اند؛ ولي ظهور و پهناي معنايي اين واژه در عرف، محدود به «تحمّل سختي‌ها و قانع‌شدن در برابر وضع موجود» شده است. اين مقاله به لحاظ معناي وضعي، مفهوم اخلاقي و معناي عرفي متداول از زمان اميرالمومنين?تا عصر حاضر، با نگرشي فراگير و با دو دامنه روايي و كتاب‌شناسي به بررسي و تحليل فضيلت صبر در چهار شرح نهج‌البلاغه پرداخته است. واژه «صبر» در نهج‌البلاغه با حفظ معناي لغوي و اصطلاحي، با بسياري از مفاهيم اخلاقي و ديني ارتباط معنوي دارد. براين‌اساس در اين تحقيق به تبيين و تحليل روايي و ارتباط آن با مفاهيم ديگر نظير ايمان، تقوا، يقين و ... با توجه به آراي شارحان، توجه شده است.

Persistence against adversity is called "Patience" and if practiced for Godʹs sake, it will lead to the enhancement of divine piety and can be considered a virtue. Imam Ali (AS) in Nahj al-Bal?ghah introduces the "Virtue of Patience" as the head, boss and the controlling center of manʹs faith: "Patience for faith is like the head for the body" (Nahj al-Bal?ghah, Hikmat 2, P. 640). Ethicists believe that patience is the leading quality for all other ethical virtues, but among the public it has been limited to the situation in which the person endures the hardships and is satisfied with the status quo. This article investigates the literal, ethical and conventional meanings of patience from the time of Imam Ali up to the present, using a comprehensive approach in two fields of Islamic traditions and bibliography and by referring to four commentaries of Nahj al-Bal?ghah. The term patience in Nahj al-Bal?ghah, besides keeping its literal and technical meaning, has made a semantic relation with many of the religious and ethical concepts. Based on this fact, the present essay tries to explain and analyze the Islamic traditions in which this term has been used and then using the commentaries of Nahj al-Bal?ghah, indicates the relationship between patience and other concepts like faith, piety, certainty and … .
