Al-Ghazali on the Training Role of Prophets in Humanʹʹs Epistemic Development

از ديد غزالي، انبيا (ع) تاثيري بنيادين در رساندن ساير انسان‌ها به عالي‌ترين مرتبه معرفتي دارند. اين تاثير، علاوه بر اين كه در حوزه تعليم حقايق به انجام مي‌رسد، تاثيري تربيتي است كه با ايجاد تغيير در ساحت‌هاي عاطفي‌ـ‌ارادي انسان‌ها ساحت معرفت را به مرتبه يقين و به سطح مكاشفه مي‌رساند. نقش تربيتي انبيا هدايتگري «سفري» است كه انسان در نفس خود به سوي حقيقت در پيش مي‌گيرد تا «قابليت» دريافت حقايق را بيابد. رسيدن به اين قابليت مستلزم «تسويه» و «اعتدال» و «انسجامي نفساني» است، تا وي «يكسره» به حقيقت توجه يابد. انسان‌ها در مواجهه با نبي قالب زباني مكاشفه او را دريافت مي‌كنند. تبعيت از دستورات شرع و پيروي از حركات و سكنات و اقوال و افعال انبيا انسان‌ها را در سفري معرفتي همراهي مي‌كند كه غايت آن ظهور عالي‌ترين مرتبه معرفتي در ايشان است. در اين مرتبه است كه طالبان معرفت مي‌توانند به «فهم» و «تاويل» باطن حقايق شرع و معرفت به واقعيت‌هاي روحاني دست يابند، كه شامل موجودات روحاني و ربط و نسبت‌هاي ميان موجودات و معناي وجود آنها مي‌شود

According to al-Ghazali, prophets exert a profound effect on bringing other people to the highest degree of knowledge. In addition to teaching people the truths, prophets have a training role that brings knowledge to the level of certainty through changing the emotional-volitional realms. I shall show analytically that the prophetsʹ training role leads to a "journey" to the truth that one takes in his soul, in order to achieve "the ability" of comprehending the truth. Achieving this ability requires a "settlement", "moderation" and "consistency of the self", so that one notices the truth "entirely". People faced with the prophet, receive his revelation in a lingual form. Obeying the Shariʹa and following the prophetsʹ commands and deeds accompanies people on an epistemic journey which ends with the highest level of knowledge. In this level, the people looking for the truth can achieve the "understanding" of the B?tin (the hidden meaning) of the Shariʹa, as well as the knowledge of the spiritual realities, including spiritual beings as well as the relationship between them and the meaning of their existence.
