بررسي موانع پژوهش از ديدگاه اساتيد دانشگاه علوم پزشكي لرستان و ارتباط آن با عملكرد پژوهشي ايشان

The assessment of barriers to research from the viewpoint of faculty members of Lorestan University of Medical Sciences and relationship to research performance of them

مقدمه: شناسايي نقاط ضعف پژوهش اولين گام براي سامان بخشيدن به پژوهش در جامعه است. چون عمده فعاليت هاي پژوهشي توسط اعضاي هيأت علمي دانشگاه ها صورت مي گيرد در اين پژوهش سعي شده تا ارتباط موانع پژوهش از ديدگاه اعضاي هيأت علمي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي لرستان با عملكرد پژوهشي ايشان بررسي گردد. مواد و روش ها: اين مطالعه مقطعي بر روي اساتيد دانشگاه علوم پزشكي لرستان به روش سرشماري انجام گرديد. يك پرسشنامه محقق ساخته براي ارزيابي متغيرهاي جمعيت شناختي و آگاهي و نگرش اعضاي هيأت علمي نسبت به موانع موجود در مراحل مختلف پژوهش تدوين و به صورت خود ايفا تكميل شد و ارتباط آن با نمرات ارزشيابي ساليانه اساتيد در معيار پژوهشي با استفاده از آزمون مجذور كاي، منويتني و كروسكالواليس بررسي گرديد. يافته ها: متغيرهاي دانشكده محل خدمت، كميت تدريس، انگيزه پژوهشي اوليه، آگاهي نسبت به متغيرهاي اصول روش تحقيق، اصول جستجو در بانك هاي اطلاعاتي پزشكي، اصول پروپوزال نويسي و اصول مقاله نويسي و نيز نگرش نسبت به متغيرهاي اولويت هاي پژوهشي مصوب، نگارش پروپوزال، كيفيت مشاوره پژوهشي، فرآيند تصويب طرح ها در شوراهاي پژوهشي، تسهيلات پژوهشي، نگارش مقاله، فرآيند داوري مقالات داخلي، ارائه مقاله در همايش ها و مشاركت در پايان نامه ها در ارتباط معنادار با عملكرد پژوهشي افراد بودند (005/0P lt ). بحث و نتيجه گيري: به نظر مي رسد با اعطاي امتيازات ويژه به جمعيت هاي خاص نظير اعضاي هيأت علمي دانشكده پزشكي، افراد داراي كميت تدريس بالا و افراد داراي آگاهي و نگرش نامطلوب بتوان انگيزه ايشان جهت انجام فعاليت هاي پژوهشي را تقويت كرد.

Background: The first step in improving research conduction in society can be conceived as identifying the weak points of research. Given that faculty members of universities carry out most of the research activities, the present study attempts to study the relationship between barriers to research from the viewpoint of the faculty members of Lorestan University of Medical Sciences and the research activities of them. Materials and Methods: This crosssectional study, using census method, assessed all of the faculty members of Lorestan university of medical sciences. A selfadministered questionnaire analyzing the faculty membersrsquo demographic variables, knowledge about and attitudes toward barriers to different steps of research was designed and the selfreport questionnaires were filled out and their relationship with the annual assessment scores in research criteria were assessed by chisquare, MannWhitney and KruskalWallis tests. Results: Variables such as the faculty membersrsquo department, number of their modules, primary motivation for research conduction, knowledge about variables such as research methodologies, searching strategies in medical databases, putting forward proposals, research article writing and also, attitude towards vaiables such as approved research priorities, putting forward proposals, quality of research advice, approval of proposals in research councils, research facilities, the process of peer review of national scientific articles, presenting papers in conferences and participating in theses were related to the research performance of them (plt 0.05). Conclusion: If seems that giving special privileges to the faculty members of faculty of medicine, those with many modules and those with no optimal knowledge and attitude, we can enhance their motivation to participate in research activities.
