شكاكيت هيوم؛ در راستاي شك دكارت يا در تقابل با آن؟

The Humean skepticism, in line with the Cartesian doubt or in opposition to it?

بيشتر شك دكارت و هيوم دو قسم شك متفاوت و گاه متمايز تلقي مي‌شود كه اولي شك دستوري و دومي شك واقعي است. هرچند آرا و ديدگاه‌هاي دكارت و هيوم در مورد شك از يك منظر نشان‌گر اين واقعيت است كه شك هيوم نه‌تنها ادامۀ شك دكارتي نيست، بلكه داراي تفاوت‌هاي بنيادين هم به جهت صوري و هم به جهت محتوايي با آن است، اما از سوي ديگر، برخي عناصر دال بر غيرواقعي و غيركامل‌بودن شك هيوم وجود دارد. به‌گونه‌اي كه در اين راستا جايز است شك هيوم را نيز همانند شك دكارتي داراي ويژگي دستوري‌بودن دانست. در اين مقاله ما تلاش مي‌كنيم با تمركز بر مبحث شك در آثار هيوم و نيز اشاره‌اي كوتاه به شك دكارت، نقاط اشتراك و اختلاف اين دو فليسوف را در اين زمينه بيان كنيم و مشخص سازيم كه آيا قول رايج در مورد نسبت ميان شكاكيت اين دو فيلسوف درست است يا نه؟

Generally, Cartesian and Humean doubts are considered as two types of different and diverse doubts. The first one is imperative and the second one is real. Although Cartesian and Humean points of view about doubt from one perspective reflect the fact that, not only the Humean doubt is not in continuity with the Cartesian doubt, but it has fundamental differences with it in terms of forms and contents. On the other hand, there are some elements indicating that the Humean doubt is unreal and incomplete. So, in this regard, it is possible to see the Humean doubt as being the same as the Cartesian doubt that has an imperative characteristic. In this paper, we try to represent similarities and differences between these two philosophers about this topic by focusing on doubts in Hume’s works and we will briefly refer to the Cartesian doubt; and see whether the common idea about the relation between the skepticisms of these two philosophers is true or not.
