مقاله حاضر با هدف شناسايي ريشه ها و علل نظري بروز جرايم خشن صورت گرفته است. معمولا" جرايم خشن، روابط انساني، امنيت را هم از جنبه هاي مختلف تهديد مي كند. به طوري كه؛ انسجام جامعه را با مشكل روبه رو مي سازد. قطعا" شناسايي ريشه ها و علل بروز خشونت، زمينه لازم را براي برنامه ريزي و تسهيل كنترل جرايم خشن فراهم مي آورد. مهمترين راهكارها در اين خصوصتقويت؛ زير ساخت ها و سازو كارهاي اخلاقي؛ آگاهي جمعي، كنش اجتماعي مشترك، توسعه باورهاي عميق اجتماعي، تقويت جامعه پذيري، حفظ الگوي مناسب، اميد به زندگي، بازسازي سبك زندگي، تقويت هم گرايي فرهنگي، توسعه پايگاه اجتماعي، نظارت اجتماعي، نهادينه سازي رفتارهاي جمعي، تقويت هويت مشترك و... همچنين؛ كاهش محروميت نسبي، تضاد و ابهام در روابط اجتماعي و تعارض نقش ها ، كنترل خرده فرهنگ كجرو و... مي تواند فرصت ارتكاب به جرايم خشن در جامعه كاهش دهد، بي‌ترديد اسلوب و تكنيك هاي جديد در زمينه پيشگيري از جرايم خشن، نيازمند استفاده كاربردي از نظريات علمي‌ است.
