كاربرد قدرت از طريق جذب و هم‌زمان پرهيز از هرگونه اجبار و تطميع، گستره‌اي بسيار گوناگون و جذاب و در عين حال ظريف و حساس را در مقابل دولتمردان يك كشور قرار مي‌دهد. قدرت، توانايي يك بازيگر در استفاده از منابع و امكانات جهت تاثيرگذاري بر رويدادهاي بين‌المللي به نفع خود است. كشورها براي حفظ موجوديت، امنيت و رفاه شهروندان خود و نيز مقابله با تهديدهاي خارجي، ناگزيرند سياست‌ها و برنامه‌هايي را جهت افزايش توانمندي و قدرت ملي خود به‌كار گيرند. جمهوري اسلامي ايران نيز با توجه به موقعيت حساس استراتژيك و ژيوپليتيك خود ناگزير است ضمن توجه و تقويت جنبه‌هاي مختلف قدرت سخت خود (توان نظامي و اقتصادي) به تقويت ابعاد قدرت نرم نيز بپردازد؛ تا بتواند تصوير مناسب و جذابي از خود نزد افكار عمومي جهان ارايه نموده و امكان تاثيرگذاري مقتدرانه‌تر و مهم‌تر از آن پايدارتري را در تعاملات منطقه‌اي يا بين‌المللي داشته باشد. در همين ارتباط، پژوهش حاضر به روش توصيفي – تحليلي تلاش دارد تا با ارايه تصويري واضح از معناي قدرت نرم و تمركز بيشتر بر وجه فرهنگي آن، ويژگي‌ها، اركان و منابع آن را معرفي نموده و از همين منظر به بررسي منابع و ابزارهاي قدرت نرم جمهوري اسلامي ايران بپردازد. ارايه ديدگاه‌هايي پيرامون نحوه مقابله با جنگ نرم تحميلي با استفاده از مولفه‌هاي قدرت نرم كشور، بخش مهم ديگري از اين مقاله را تشكيل داده و در همين ارتباط پيشنهادهاي كاربردي نيز ارايه مي‌‌گردد.

Islamic Republic of Iran, due to its geo political position strategically sensitive is inevitable attention and rein forces various aspects of its hard power (military and economic) also intends to strengthen its soft power dimensions; In order to offer a perfect and fascinating picture of own un to world public opinion and have more powerful and more important and lasting influence on the regional or international engagements. In this connection, the present study by a descriptive-analytical study attempts to provide a clear picture of the meaning of soft power and a greater focus on cultural aspects, attributes, elements and resources, introduce it and evaluated from this perspective, resources and instruments of soft power Islamic Republic of Iran. Providing views on how to deal with the soft war imposed by the use of soft power components constitute a major portion of this paper and in this regard will provide practical suggestions.
