The Concept of the Word Nafḥa according to the Verse 46 of Sūrat al-Anbiyā

واژه شناسي از نخستين و موثّرترين گام‏ها در تفسير قرآن است. با جست‏وجو در كتاب‏هاي لغوي و روايات، مي توان كاربردهاي متفاوتي براي واژه «نفحه» در نظر گرفت. گوهر معنايي اين واژه، وزش باد ملايم است كه با واژه «نفخ» هم معنا مي گردد؛ اما آنچه در تفاسير و كتاب‏هاي لغوي به عنوان واژه جايگزين براي آن ذكر شده است، واژه «لفح» است كه در دايره معنايي واژه«نفحه»، جايگاه با ارزشي دارد، تا جايي كه برخي، اين دو كلمه را در اصل، يكي دانسته، معتقدند كه واژه «لفح» به تصحيف ضبط شده است. آنچه اين نوشتار با روش توصيفي- تحليلي به دنبال آن است، تبيين بهتر اين واژه در كتاب‏هاي لغوي، تفاسير و كتاب‏هاي روايي موجود است كه برطبق اين منابع، سه نتيجه مهم قابل ذكر است: 1- واژه نفحه، تنها بيانگر كوچكي و خردي است. 2-اين واژه درباره حرارت نيز به كار مي‏رود و از اين رو، با واژه لفح هم معناست. 3-استعمال اين واژه درباره عذاب به صورت مجازي است.

The Concept of the Word Naf?a according to the Verse 46 of S?rat al-Anbiy? Muhammad Sharifi Akram Husaynzadeh Terminology is among the first and most effective steps in the interpretation of the Qur’?n. With an exploration into the lexicons and traditional collections, books, different applications can be taken into consideration for the word naf?a. The semantic essence of this word is a mild blow of wind, which is synonymous with the word nafkh; however, what is mentioned in interpretations and lexicons as a substitute for this word is the word laf?, which has a significant status in the semantic circle of the word naf?a, to the extent that some have considered these two words to be one and the same. What this article is aiming at with a descriptive-analytical method is to figure out better explanations of this word in the existing lexicons, interpretations, and traditional collections, according to which three important conclusions are worth-mentioning: 1. The word naf?a only represents smallness and scantiness. 2. This word is also used about heat and, thus, it is synonymous to the word laf?. 3. Its use is figurative concerning torment.
