Plato and Heidegger’s Views on Language: a Comparative Study

هدف اين مقاله مطالعه اي مقايسه اي ميان ديدگاه افلاطون و هيدگر درباره زبان است. آنچه امكان اين مقايسه را فراهم مي آورد اين نكته است كه هم افلاطون و هم هيدگر، پرسش از زبان را به پرسش از وجود پيوند مي زنند. به عبارت ديگر اين دو متفكر زبان را در نسبت با وجود مورد مطالعه قرار مي دهند. ذات و حقيقت زبان نزد افلاطون و هيدگر، هر دو، به موجب همين ربط و پيوند با وجود عبارت است از آشكاركنندگي وجود يا موجودات اما تفاوت و جدايي ايشان درست در همين ديدگاه ظاهراً يكسان است. زيرا ساز و كار آشكاري وجود در زبان، و حدود و مرزهاي آن نزد هر يك به گونه اي متفاوت با ديگري است. ريشه اين تفاوت را نهايتاً بايد در نگرش بنيادي ايشان به انسان، وجود، و نسبت ميان آنها جست.

This paper intends to carry out a comparative study on Plato and Heideggeramp;rsquo;s views on language. What allows such a comparison is that according to both Plato and Heidegger, the question of language is connected with the question of Being. In other words, they study the nature of language amp;quot;in its relation to Beingamp;quot;. Therefore, both Plato and Heidegger believe the true nature of language is amp;quot;revealing and disclosing the Being or beingsamp;quot;. However, their difference lies in their apparently similar attitudes towards the nature of language because the procedure of disclosure of Being in language, and the limits of this disclosure are different according to each of these two thinkers. This difference has finally its root in their fundamental views on man, Being, and their relationship.
