شناخت گونه هاي متنوع سكونتگاه هاي روستايي گيلان و طبقه بندي آن ها، زيربناي برنامه هاي توسعه روستايي و ناحيه اي است كه مي تواند رهگشاي شناخت نيازها، توانمندي ها، محدوديت ها، تنگناهاي روستاها و سنجش سطح توسعه يافتگي يا محروميت روستاها باشد. با توجه به ويژگي هاي كالبدي و اجتماعي اقتصادي روستاهاي گيلان، نمي توان به سادگي از الگوها و روش هاي رايج در طبقه بندي سطح توسعه يافتگي روستاها پيروي نمود. براين اساس، با گونه شناسي روستاهاي گيلان از نظر محيطي و اجتماعي اقتصادي و شناخت تنگناها و توانمندي هاي هر گروه از روستاها در سطح عرصه هاي طبيعي استقرار روستاها (جلگه اي كوهپايه اي و كوهستاني) و در سطح واحدهاي اداري (دهستان و بخش)، مي توان به سطح توسعه يافتگي و ميزان محروميت آن ها دست يافت. در اين پژوهش با بهره گيري و تلفيق روش هاي علمي شناخته شده، كوشيده ايم تا روش مناسب و بهينه اي را براي طبقه بندي روستاها و سنجش ميزان توسعه يافتگي آن ها ارائه دهيم و بر پايه آن شاخص هاي مهم بررسي ميزان توسعه يافتگي يا محروميت روستاها را در گيلان شناسايي كنيم.

Identifying various types of rural residences inGuilan and their categorizations serves as a base for rural development programs that can open ways to discover needs،capabilities، limitations and difficulties in villages and measure the level of development and deprivation in villages.Concerning physical and socialeconomic characteristics of Guilan villages، common models and methods for categorization of level of development cannot be easily used and followed.According to this،by classification of Guilan villages in terms of environmental and socialeconomic aspects and identification of the difficulties and capabilities of each group of villages at the natural level of their settlement (plain، foothill and mountain) and atthe level of official units (rural district and district), their development and privation level can be attained.In this research، by using and combining known scientific methodologies، we have tried to present an appropriate and optimum method for categorizing of villages and measuring the rate of their development. Relying on this method we have attempted to identify the main indexes of studying the rate of development or privation of Guilan villages.
