The role of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in changing the global geometry of power, emphasizing its strategic potential

شواهد موجود به‏خوبي نشان مي‏دهد وضعيت جديدي در راه است و نوعي تغيير بنيادين در حال اتفاق افتادن است. پرسش اصلي نوشتار اين است كه: نقش انقلاب اسلامي ايران در تحول و مهندسي جهاني قدرت چيست؟ مقاله حاضر با استفاده از روش آينده‏پژوهي به بررسي تأثير انقلاب اسلامي بر هندسه جديد جهاني قدرت و آينده‏ پيشِ‏روي آن پرداخته است. يافته‏هاي پژوهش نشان مي‏دهد درحالي‏كه جهان در كشمكش منازعات ناشي از ساختار دوقطبي به سر مي‏برد، پديده انقلاب اسلامي ايران ظهور كرد و با ارائه گفتماني جديد، نه‏تنها در عرصه داخلي اثرگذار بود، بلكه سبب ايجاد دگرگوني‏هايي در نوع نگرش‏ها، ساختارها و شكل‏گيري جريان‏هاي فكري در سطح بين‏الملل شد. البته اين حد از عمق‏بخشي مطلوب نيست؛ چراكه اگر ايران مي‏خواهد طبق سند چشم‏انداز بيست ساله قدرت اول منطقه از نظر علمي، فناوري و اقتصادي باشد، نياز است اين عمق‏بخشي بسيار وسيع‏تر و از همه مهم‏تر، بادوام‏تر شود. رسيدن به آينده مطلوب در نظم جديد جهاني، منوط به اين است كه چه ميزان در راستاي تقويت اقتصاد، فرهنگ، علم و فناوري و نيز چشم‏انداز بيست ساله بكوشيم.

The evidences clearly show that a new situation is underway and a kind of basic upheaval is about to occur. The main question of this article is that what is the role of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in the evolution and global geometry of power? Using the futures studies method the article has analyzed the impacts of the Islamic Revolution on the new global geometry of power and its forthcoming futures. The research findings show that although the world was suffering from the conflicts caused by the bipolar structure, the Islamic Republic phenomenon arose and by presenting a new discourse, not only affected the domestic sphere, but also caused changes in the nature of the attitudes and structures and led to the formation of new intellectual currents at the international level. However, this level of deepening is not favorable, because if, according to “the 20year outlook”, Iran wants to become the leading power of the region in terms of science, technology and economy, the deepening needs to become wider and especially more enduring. Reaching the favorable future in the new global order depends on the extent to which we would attempt to strengthen the economy, culture, science and technology and also to realize the 20year outlook.
