The Celestial Geography and Mystical Moments

زبان رمزي و نمادين روايات و تمثيل هاي عرفاني علاوه بر انتقال شبكه اي از مفاهيم قدسي و تجريدي، مملو از تصاوير عينيِ مجردي است كه ملكوت را با صورت هاي زميني توصيف مي كند. گرچه اصل اساسي لامكان و لازمان در مباحث جهان هاي بالاتر از فلك قمر، يعني عالم ملكوت و بالاتر، همواره مورد توجه عرفا بوده است اما در برخي از رسايل فلاسفه اشراق گرا مانند ابن سينا يا عرفاي اشراقي مانند سهروردي يا متكلمان عرفان گرا مانند امام محمد غزالي، زبان رمز و نماد در ترسيم جغرافياي ملكوتي و جزئيات آن، كارآمدتر از نظريه هاي خشك فلسفي و كلامي عمل كرده است؛ حتي بخشي از تمثيل هاي جغرافياي ملكوتي با آيات قرآن، اشارات عهدين، روايات مذاهب و روايات ملّي و اسطوره اي نيز همخواني دارد. اگرچه تئوري جغرافياي ملكوتي در نظريه هاي ديني، فلسفي و عرفانيِ لامكان و لازمان محل يقين علما و فلاسفه است اما در جهان شناسي عرفاني جهت ديگري را معرفي مي كند؛ جغرافيايي كه دقيقاً در دل لامكان واقع شده است و زمان‌هاي آن همه بر مدار لازمان است. رساله الطيرهاي موجود در ادبيات عرفاني و برخي ديگر از رسائل رمزي يا نمادين، در ارائه تصوير جغرافياي ملكوتي براي سالكان حقيقت همواره جذابيت فكري و هنري داشته است و آنان را به سرزميني دعوت كرده است كه در جهت شناسي جغرافياييِ قدسي، مي تواند شمال، مشرق يا حتّي غرب باشد.

In addition to transferring a network of holy and abstract notions, the symbolic language of mystical narratives and allegories is full of tangible abstract images which describe the Heaven via earthly forms. Although the mystics have always paid attention to the principle of nonplace and nontime with regard to the issue of the worlds beyond the sphere of the moon, i.e. the Angelic World and beyond, in the treatises of the illuminationist philosophers like Ibn Sina and illuminationist mystics like Suhrewardi or mysticismoriented theologians like Imam Muhammad Qazali, the language of symbols and signs is more efficient than rigid philosophical and theological theories for visualizing the celestial geography and its details so that several parts of allegories of celestial geography are congruent with Quranic verses, Biblical indications and religious as well as national and mythical tales. Although the theory of celestial geography is the place of men of knowledge and philosophers' certainty in religious, philosophical and mystical theories of nonplace and nontime, it presents another direction in mystical cosmologies; a kind of geography located exactly at the heart of nonplace and its time accords with nontime. The alTeir treatises existent in mystical literature and some other symbolic treatises have always attracted the truthseekers intellectually and artistically for offering an image of celestial geography and have invited them to a land which can be North, East or even West in the navigational system of sacred geography.
