Social Identity Theory and Identity Representation of ISIS Actions

داعش گروهي سلفي ـ تكفيري با معرفي خود به‌عنوان درون‌گروه و مخالفانش به‌عنوان برون‌گروه به تعريف هويت اجتماعي براي خود و اعضايش دست مي‌زند. پايه‌هاي اين هويت مبتني بر ادعاي حفظ ارزش‌هاي اسلامي و عزت‌نفس مسلمانان و ارايه ثبات و قطعيت است. اين مقاله در پي پاسخ به اين پرسش‌هاست: گروه داعش در تعريف هويت اجتماعي خود چه شاخص‌هايي را در نظر مي‌گيرد؟ برون‌گروه داعش شامل چه گروه‌هايي است؟ عوامل اصلي جذابيت هويت اجتماعي تعريف ‌شده توسط داعش براي اعضاي اين گروه كدام است؟ فرضيه مقاله آن است كه داعش با ارايه يك هويت جمعي مبتني بر آموزه‌هاي تكفيري و با شعار بازگرداندن افتخار و عزت‌نفس مسلمانان و نيز تعريف هويت‌هاي برون‌گروهي، توانسته طيف وسيعي از مسلمانان و نوكيشان را به خود جذب كند. داعش به‌طور مستمر در پي ايجاد فضاي دوقطبي و تاكيد بر هويت درون‌گروه و برون‌گروه است و با استفاده از اين فضا، هويت خويش را هويت خالص و برتر و هويت مقابلش را اهريمني و پست معرفي مي‌كند و به اين وسيله به توجيه اقدامات خشونت‌آميز خود مي‌پردازد.

ISIS as a Salafist-takfiri Group emphasis on authenticity and introduce themselve as in-group and at the same time introducing a range of opponents as out-group and its members tries to define a new social identity. This article seeks to answer these questions: What Criteria are Considered when ISIS is defining itself? What are out-groups of ISIS? What are the main factors of Charming Social Identity is Defined by ISIS to its members? ISIS continually focus on creating space and bipolar own identity and others. Using this atmosphere of polarization and double standards, their identity pure and superior identity and identity against the evil and thereby to justify their acts of violence are explored.
