Physiological and morphological characteristics of 3 soybean cultivars (Willims,Clarck and Hobit) and redroot pigweed were assessed during entire growing season, using a replacement series experiment at 100:0, 75: 25, 50:50, 25:75, and 0:100 proportions of each cultivars with redroot pigweed, in green house. The result showed that main stem height, stem diameter, number of internode, leaf dry weight, seed yield, plant dry weight, and pod number per plant,in Hobit cv. were significantly lower than Williams and clark cv. Decreasing the proportion of soybean density resulted in increasing stem weight, leaf dry weight, plant dry weight, and seed number per plant, and the maximum amounts obtained at 50:50 ratio. Decreasing the proportion of soybean density caused increasing main stem height of Williams and Clarck but decreased the main stem height of Hobit cv. Decreasing of redroot pigweed density resulted in decreasing plant height, seed yeild , and plant dry weight. Stem diameter, number of internode, branch number per plant, and seed weight per soybean plants were not affected by various proportions of soybean cultivars with redroot pigweed. Soybean cultivars were more competitive than redroot pigweed under this greenhouse condition.
