عصر ظهور امام زمان عليهم السلام عصر مواجهه و رويارويي با اقوام و ملل مختلف از جمله قوم يهود است. تاريخ بهود با حوادثي پرفراز و نشيب همراه بوده و هست در قران آيات متعددي به يهود ، انبياي بني اسرائيل ، اوصاف و كردار اين قوم اشاره دارد، در برخي از آيات خبر از تباهي، ذلت ابدي و نابودي آنها داده است. از مجموع شواهد بر مي آيد كه امام زمان عليهم السلام در عصر ظهور در دو مرحله با يهوديان مواجهه دارد در مرحله اول با اقامه دلايل مورد قبول براي يهوديان، آنان را به اسلام دعوت مي نمايد، برخي نيز ايمان مي آورند اما بسياري در اثر نژاد پرستي وعناد، اسلام نمي آورند و جنگ سختي با آنها شكل ميگيرد، از روايات بر مي آيد كه رابطه خاصي ميان دجال و يهود ، سفياني سرزمين شام با يهود وجود دارد، امام زمان عليهم السلام با غلبه بر دجال و شكست سفياني و تصرف شام ، در نهايت وارد مسجد الاقصي مي شود اوج خواري و ذلت قوم يهود در عصر ظهور خواهد بود

Those Jewish hostiles become humiliated and debased, which is their usual characteristics, the peak of which would be in that era
