اثر تجارت درون صنعت بر توزيع درآمد: يك مطالعه موردي براي كشورهاي در حال توسعه

Effect of Intra Industry Trade on Income Distribution: A Case Study of Selected Developing Countries

همگام با گسترش تجارت بين الملل و به ويژه تجارت درون صنعت، اثرات توزيعي آن اهميت فزاينده اي پيدا كرده است. در چارچوب نظريه هاي مرسوم تجارت به ويژه نظريه نسبت هاي عامل، وضعيت توزيع درآمد به فراواني نسبي عامل بستگي دارد. همچنين، در چارچوب نظريه هاي جديد تجارت، اثرات توزيعي تجارت درون صنعت به طور قطع مشخص نيست و به مولفه هاي مختلف همچون اندازه بازار و تنوع محصول بستگي دارد. تحقيق پيش رو، اثر تجارت درون صنعت بر توزيع درآمد را براي كشورهاي در حال توسعه بررسي مي كند. مشخصاً، فرضيه تحقيق حاضر اين است كه تجارت درون صنعت موجب كاهش نابرابري درآمدي مي شود. براي آزمون اين فرضيه، الگوي داده هاي تابلويي براي كشورهاي در حال توسعه منتخب شامل ايران طي دوره زماني 2005-2012 برآورد گرديده است. نتيجه اين تحقيق نشان مي دهد تجارت درون صنعت اثر مثبت و معنادار بر توزيع درآمد دارد. بنابراين، توصيه مي شود تجارت خارجي با تاكيد بر تجارت درون صنعت توسعه يابد.

The income distributional effects of international trade, particularly intra industry trade has become important along with the expansion of international trade. In the framework of traditional trade theory especially factor proportions, the income distribution situation depends on the relative factor abundance. Also, according to the new trade theories, the income distributional effect of intra industry trade is not certain, and it depends on some factors such as market size and product differentiation. This paper has analyzed the distributional effects of intra industry trade. Specifically, the hypothesis is that intra industry trade reduces income inequality. To test this hypothesis, the panel data technique has been employed for selected developing countries including Iran during the time period of 2005-2012. Empirical results indicate a positive effect of intra industry trade on income distribution of selected countries. Based on the results, intra industry trade should be paid more attention in the foreign trade development.
