تاريخ‌نگاري حزبي در مصر نمونه موردي: كتاب سعد زغلول، اثر عقاد

Party Historiography in Contemporary Egypt Case Study: the Saad Zaghloul's Historiography Written by Al-Aqqād

احزاب فعال در مصر در سال‌هاي 1922-1952م. همان ناسيوناليست‌هاي پرشور صحنه سياسي بودند. همان‌گونه كه اين احزاب به دليل اهداف مختلف ناسيوناليستي با يكديگر رقابت مي‌كردند، شيوه‌ها و ابزار رقابتشان هم گوناگون بود. يكي از ابزارهايي كه برخي از اين احزاب براي به حاشيه راندن رقباي خود استفاده مي‌كردند، دانش «تاريخ» بود كه به توليد انواع تاريخ‌نويسي در تاريخ‌نگاري حزبي مصر منجر شد. از جمله مهم‌ترين اين تاريخ‌نگاشته‌ها، كتاب سعد زغلول، زعيم الثوره اثر عباس محمود عقاد، يكي از اعضاي حزب وفد بود. مطالعه و تحليل اين اثر تاريخ‌نگارانه به منظور فهم چگونگي روايت و تصويرسازي اين پيشواي ملي در تاريخ معاصر مصر و نحوه انعكاس اختلاف‌ها و رقابت‌هاي درون يا برون‌حزبي وفد در اين متن، مسئلۀ اين تحقيق است. روش تحقيق در اين مقاله، مطالعۀ شاخصه‌هاي تاريخ‌نگاري متن سعد زغلول است كه با در نظر گرفتن روابط ميان متن با نويسنده و شرايط زمانۀ مؤلف انجام شده است. نتيجۀ تحليل شاخصه‌هاي تاريخ‌نگاري اين متن نشان مي‌دهد عقاد در واكنش به فضاي انديشه‌اي و سياسي مصر در سال 1936م. با نگارش كتاب سعد زغلول به دفاع از حزب وفد و بنيانگذار آن پرداخت. اما وي به دليل دشمني با نحاس، رهبر وقتِ حزب وفد، ساخت تصوير آرماني را تنها در مورد سعد زغلول به نمايش گذاشت.

Active parties in Egypt in the years 1922-1952 were the same zealous nationalists of political scene of the country. These parties competed against each other with various styles and tools. One of these tools was “history” that led to production of species of historiography in Egypt's party historiography. One of the most important of these historiographies was the Saad Zaghloul's book, i.e. Zaim al-Thawrah, written by Abbās Mahmūd al-Aqqād, a member of the Wafd Party. The topic of this research is study and analysis of this historiographical work in order to understand how this national leader in Egypt's contemporary history has been portrayed and how Wafd Party's disputes and competitions are reflected in this text. The method of this research, according to the characteristics of historiography, is understanding the relationships between the studied text components, the author and political-cultural macro- context in this era. The result of the research shows that Al-Aqqād, in response to the political and intellectual atmosphere of Egypt, intends to defend the Wafd party and its founder, i.e. Saad Zaghloul. Due to the competition with other parties, he portrayed Zaghloul as the best example of an ideal leader in Egypt. However, because of a feud with Mustafa Nahas, the leader of Wafd Party at that time, the author presented such an ideal image only in the case of Saad Zaghloul.
