شمار بسياري از اسناد مالي تاريخ ايران به خط سياق نگاشته شده است و براي درك تاريخ اقتصادي ايران اين مرزو بوم در دوره هاي صفوي و قاجاري و يا حتي پيش از آن، بايد اين خط بازشناسي شود تا گرهگشاي بازخواني اسناد و مكتوبات تاريخي باشد. بنابراين اهميت نگارش اثري در شناساندن سياق در دوره هاي مختلف تاريخي واضح است. كتاب دوجلدي سياقي (تاريخ، آموزشي، ديوان سالاري و رياضي حسابداري)، نوشته اسدالمنه عبدلي اشتياني (تهران: سفيرا رد هال ، چاپ اول: 1395) تازه ترين كتابي است كه درباره آموزش سياق به طبع رسيده و اطلاعات جزئي و گسترده اي درباره سياق گردآورده است. نويسنده نوشتار حاضر را با هدف معرفي و نقد كتاب مذكورہ به رشته تحرير دراورده است. وي در راستاي اين هدف نخست اطلاعاتي در باره اسدلله عبدلي آشتياني بيان كرده و در ادامه منابع مورد استفاده در نگارش كتاب را تشريح مي نمايد. . ارائه كزارشي از محتوا و بخش هاي كتاب سياق و بيان نقاط قوت و نقد ظاهري و محتوايي آن، از ديگر مباحث مطرح شده در نوشتار است.

Many of the financial documents of Iran's history have been written down in Siaq handwriting. So, in order to have a better understanding of the economic history of this country in the Safavid and Qajar periods. or even before that, this handwriting should be recognized to help us reread the historical documents and writings. Therefore, the importance of writing a book to introduce and describe this handwriting in different periods of history is obvious. The two-volume book Siäq (history, education, bureaucracy and accounting math), written by Asadullah Abdoli Ashtiani (Tehran: Safir-e Ardihal, First Edition: 395) is the latest book on teaching Siaq, and has gathered Some detailed and comprehensive information about this subject. The author of the following paper intends to introduce and criticize the mentioned book. Regarding this, he first of all presents some information about Asadullah Abdoli Ashtiani, and then describes the main sources used by the author in writing the book. Providing a report on the content and Scetions of the book, and expressing its strengths, as well as its struetural and content criticism are among the other topics discussed in the article
