Strategic Policies and Foundations of Academic Development Plans in the Selected Universities across the World

اين تحقيق با هدف كاوش و شناسايي سياست‌ها و محورهاي راهبردي تعدادي از دانشگاه‌هاي جهان انجام گرفته است. روش تحقيق، توصيفي – تحليلي و روش كيفي (فن پژوهشي تحليل محتوا و تحليل اسنادي برنامه‌هاي راهبردي) و نمونه مورد بررسي شامل 14 دانشگاه در 10 كشور بوده است. تجزيه و تحليل اطلاعات در سطح خرد (سازمان دانشگاه) مبنا قرار گرفت. در اين راستا، مقوله‌هاي مفهومي و محورهاي اصلي هر يك از اين سطوح، استخراج و در جدول‌هايي به تفكيك كشورها و دانشگاه‌هاي منتخب درج شد. نتايج نشان داد محورها و مقوله‌هاي مورد تأكيد عبارت‌اند از: تحول در آموزش دانشگاهي، پژوهش، مديريت برنامه‌هاي توسعه‌اي، نقش دولت، تضمين كيفيت خدمات اجتماعي و تخصصي و نوع تعاملات و پاسخگويي با محيط بيروني و دروني، همكاري‌هاي بين‌المللي در آموزش و پژوهش، گفتگوي بين فرهنگ‌ها، اقتصاد جهاني، حركت در راستاي دانشگاهي جهاني با توجه به شرايط زمينه‌اي.

This research aimed at exploring and identifying the strategic policies and foundations of a number of selected universities across the world. This descriptive-analytical study made use of the qualitative method (e.g. content analysis and documentary analysis of strategic plans) in order to investigate a sample of 14 universities in 10 countries. The information analysis was conducted on micro level (organization of the university). In this regard, fundamental foundations and the conceptual categories of each level were extracted and, then, they were presented into separated tables in terms of the selected countries and universities. The results of the analysis indicated that the fundamental foundations and categories were as follows: the evolution of academic education, research, management of development plans, the role of the government, the quality assurance of social and specialized services, the type of interaction and accountability towards external and internal environments, international cooperation in educational and research domains, intercultural dialogue, global economy and processing towards global universities with respect to contextual conditions.
