سازمان فضايي شهر همواره متأثر و تجلي بخش انديشه و رفتارها و اقدامات بشري بوده است. نوليد فضا در گذر زمان و به وسيله عوامل مختلف همراه در مكان هاي مختلف و منفاوت بوده است و به قول لوفوور هر جامعه اي با نوجه به ويژگي ها و خصوصيات تمايزي و خاص فضاي مخصوص به خودش را توليد مي كند، بدون ترديد همواره حمل ونقل به عنوان يكي از اركان دگرگوني كالبد، ساختار فضايي و نيز مديريت كاربري اراضي شهري معرفي مي گردد، معابر شهري به عنوان ستون فقرات شهر و انواع حالت هاي حمل ونقلي كليه رفتاري هاي شهري اعم از كالبدي، اجتماعي، اقتصادي، محيط زيسني و ... را تحت تأثير قرار داده و به بيان ديگر عامل تغيير و به وجود آمدن سازمان فضايي متفاوتي در شهرها بوده و هستند، از سوي ديگر برنامه ريزان شهري به منظور كاهش اثرات نامطلوب حمل ونقل و نيز مديريت بهينه كاربري اراضي در شهرها همواره به دنبال ارائه الگوهاي نوين نوسعه شهري بوده اند، در اين ميان الگوي توسعه حمل ونقل محور (TOD) به عنوان كامل ترين الگوي نوين توسعه، مورد نوافق اكثر نظريه پردازان و برنامه ريزان مي باشد. در اين تحقبق سعي بر اين است كه با روش تحليلي - توصيفي به بيان نقش و سير تكاملي حمل و نقل بر سازمان فضايي شهر پرداخته و در آخر ضمن بيان پيامدهاي اثرگذار بر شهر به مزاياي توسعه شهرها با نوجه به الگوي TOD به عنوان الگويي جامع پرداخته مي شود.

And finally the expression of affecting the outcome of future strategies for the sustainable development of land use and transportation According to the TOD.
