Revisiting Motherhood in Simin Daneshvar's Novels in Light of Julia Kristeva's Abjection

هدف اين مقاله بررسي تجربه ي مادرانگي سيمين دانشور، با استفاده از نظريات ژوليا كريستوا در مورد مادرانگي و تحقير شدگي است. بر اساس نظريات كريستوا در ارتباط با مادرانگي و تحقير شدگي، بدون مادرانگي، زن در دوست داشتن ديگران دچار مشكل مي شود. زني كه مادرانگي و تحقير شدگي را تجربه نكرده است، توانايي درك مفهوم مادرانگي را ندارد. با بررسي رمان هاي دانشور توانايي وي در به تصوير كشيدن روابط مادر و فرزندي مشخص مي گردد.

This essay aims to discover how Daneshvar experienced motherhood through the application of Julia Kristeva's theory on motherhood and abjection. As a childless woman, she depicted motherhood and mother-child relationship in her novels, in a best way. According to Julia Kristeva's theory on abjection and motherhood, without motherhood, female has difficulty in loving others. A woman who hasn't became a mother and is not considered as an "abject" being doesn't have the ability to get the meaning of motherhood. By investigating Daneshvar's novels it becomes clear that she has the ability to demonstrate the mother-child relationship
