Geopolitical Factors and Regional Stability: A Case Study of the South Caucasus

از ويژگي‌هاي اساسي دوران جنگ سرد ايستايي و عدم تحرك در ساختار ژئوپوليتيكي جهان بود. پس از پايان جنگ سرد، عوامل تاثيرگذار منطقه اي فعال تر شده و هر حوزه ژئوپوليتيكي اساساً واجد نيروهاي همگرا و واگرايي است كه تحت شرايط خاص عمل نموده و با يكديگر به رقابت مي‌پردازند و چيرگي هر يك از آنها بر ديگري، نوع رفتار اجزاي حوزه ژئوپليتيكي و اساساَ الگوي رابطه بين اعضاي آن را شكل مي‌دهد، يعني تقويت نيروهاي تجزيه گر و واگرا مي‌تواند الگوي رفتار خصومت آميز در حوزه را شكل دهد و بالعكس، تقويت نيروهاي همگرا مي‌تواند الگوي همكاري، اتحاد و رفتار مشترك و همگرايي را در حوزه پديد آورد. منطقه ژئوپوليتيك قفقاز از جمله حساسترين مناطق ژئوپوليتيك جهان در دوران جنگ سرد وپس از آن است. هدف اين مقاله مشخص نمودن علل بي ثباتي در قفقاز از چشم انداز رويكردي امنيتي مي باشد. روش پژوهش نيز روش تبييني است و داده ها نيز به شيوه كتابخانه اي گردآوري شده است.

The basic features of the cold war,was the static and immobility in the geopolitical structure of the world. After the end of the cold war, regional factors were more active and every area of the geopolitics creats convergent and divergent forces in order to act under certain circumstances and compete with each other. Hence, giving each of them over the other, the behavior of the components of geopolitical area form the pattern of relationship between its members. Therefore, supporting separatist and divergent forces can make hostile behavior patterns and conversely. Supporting the divergent forces can also generate model of collaboration, alliance, common behavior and convergence in the region. Caucasus geopolitical region, involves the most sensitive geopolitical zones during and after the cold war in the world. The aim of this study is going to show the causes of instability in the Caucasus in the sight of security. Research method is also presented in the case of explanation and the data is collected through library.
