خدمات نوين كتابداران و اطلاع‌رسانان پزشكي در عرصه سلامت: مقاله مروري روايتي

A Study on the Novel Services of Medical Librarians in Health Information Services: A Narrative Review

دسترسي سريع كاربران به اطلاعات سلامت معتبر و روزامد و همچنين، قابليت‌هاي كتابداران و اطلاعرسانان پزشكي، حضور آن‌ها را در عرصه‌هاي مختلف سلامت ضروري ساخته است. هدف از انجام پژوهش حاضر، شناسايي نقش‌ها و خدمات نوين كتابداران و اطلاع‌رسانان پزشكي در عرصه سلامت بود. روش اين پژوهش به صورت مروري روايتي بود. جستجو در سال‌هاي 1393 و 1395 در بازه زماني سال‌هاي 2002 تا 2016 در پايگاههاي اطلاعاتي Magiran، Noormags، SID، PubMed، Science Direct، Emerald، Eric، LISA و Web of Science (اين پايگاه‌ها جز پايگاه‌هاي اصلي حوزه كتابداري و اطلاع‌رساني پزشكي مي‌باشند) با استفاده از كليد واژههايي مانند «اطلاعرساني پزشكي، كتابداري و اطلاعرساني پزشكي، كتابدار باليني، كتابدار بيمارستاني، نقش‌ها، خدمات و...» و نيز واژه‌هاي مرتبط صورت گرفت. پس از مطالعه و ارزيابي محتوايي مقالات، نقش‌ها و خدمات جديد كتابداران پزشكي شناسايي گرديد. يافته‌ها نشان داد كه حوزه فعاليت كتابداران و اطلاع‌رسانان پزشكي فراتر از كتابخانه‌ها است و با توجه به دارا بودن توانايي‌ها و قابليت‌هاي فراوان، قادر هستند تا در حيطه‌هاي مختلف سلامت به ارايه خدماتي مانند آموزش سواد رسانه‌اي، سواد اطلاعاتي، سواد سلامت، اطلاع‌سنجي سلامت، اطلاع‌رساني سلامت، خدمات باليني، پژوهش‌ياري سلامت و طراحي و توسعه نظام‌هاي بازيابي اطلاعات سلامت بپردازند. كتابداران و اطلاع‌رسانان پزشكي بايد در قالب نقش‌ها و خدمات جديد، رضايت بيماران و خانواده آن‌ها، كادر درمان و دانشجويان و اعضاي هيات علمي را در زمينه اطلاعات سلامت، برآورده سازند.

Access to valid and new health information as well as capabilities of medical librarians has highlighted their presence in various areas of health. The aim of the present study was to identify the new roles and services of medical librarians in the field of health. This narrative review was conducted in 2014-2016. The Data was collected through studying the articles published on information databases like Magiran, SID, Noormags, PubMed, Science Direct, Emerald, and Web of Science during the past 15 years (2002 to 2016). The keywords used in this search included "medical librarian", "medical librarianship", "clinical librarian", " roles " , " services " , and other similar keywords. The new roles and services of librarians were identified after studying and evaluating the contents of the articles. The results showed that the areas of medical librarians’ activities go beyond libraries and according to their abilities and capabilities, they can offer their new services such as media literacy, information literacy, health literacy, health scientometrics, health information services, clinical services, health research services, and design and development of health information retrieval systems. In framework of their new roles and activities, medical librarians should satisfy patients and their families, medical staff, and students and faculty members in the field of health information.
