بررسي اثر حكمراني خوب بر محيط زيست دركشورهاي با درآمد متوسط

The Effect of Good Governance on the Environment in Middle-Income Countries

زمينه و هدف: در سال هاي اخير حكمراني خوب به عنوان يكي از عوامل اثرگذاربرمتغير هاي محيط زيستي مورد توجه تصميم گيرندگان اقتصادي وسياسي قرارگرفته است .اين پژوهش با هدف بررسي متغيرهاي موثر برمحيط زيست كشورهاي با درآمد متوسط صورت گرفته است. روش بررسي: دراين پژوهش ابتدا به روش داده هاي تركيبي(پانل)اثرحكمراني خوب برانتشار گاز هاي CO2 (كه به عنوان شاخص كيفيت محيط زيستي درنظر گرفته شده) دركشورهاي با درآمد متوسط بين سال هاي 2000-2011 مورد آزمون قرار گرفته است. يافته ­ها: نتايج تخمين نشان مي دهد كه شاخص حكمراني(شاخص حاكميتي) كه كيفيت نهادهاي عمومي يك كشور وتوانمندي دولت در انجام وظايف محوله را نشان مي دهدبر ميزان انتشار گازهاي CO2 كه معرف وضعيت محيط زيست هستند موثرند. نتيجه گيري: نتايج حاصل از اين پژوهش بيان گر اين مطلب مي باشد كه 1 درصد بهبود در شاخص وزني حكمراني خوب 0/03 درصد انتشار گاز دي اكسيدكربن را كاهش مي دهد.

Background and Objective: In recent years, good governance has been considered by the political and economic decision-makers as one of the factors affecting the environmental variables. This study aims to assess the environmental variables affecting middle-income countries. Method: In this study, using the method panel data, the effect of good governance on Co2 gas emissions (which is considered as an indicator of environmental quality) has been tested in middle-income countries between the years 2000-2011. Results: According to the results, estimate of governance indicator (governance indicators) which shows the quality of public institutions and power of nations in fulfilling their duties, can affect the amount of co2 emissions which represent the state of the environment. Conclusion: The reslults represent a 1% improvement in good governance and 0.03% reduction in weight of carbon dioxide emissions.
