بررسي نگرش زنان نابارور مراجعه كننده به درمانگاه هاي ناباروري نسبت به رحم جايگزين در دانشگاه علوم پزشكي شيراز

Attitudes of Infertile Women towards Surrogacy in Infertility Clinics of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences

چكيده مقدمه: نازايي يكي از مسايل مهم مرتبط با بهداشت باروري است كه ميتواند مشكلات زيادي در زندگي يك خانواده ايجاد كند. روشهاي كمك باروري از سه دهه گذشته تاكنون، نقش مهمي در درمان ناباروري داشته است. يكي از اين روشها، روش رحم جايگزين است. استفاده از اين روش، چالشهاي بسياري در زندگي فردي و ارتباطي افرادي كه به نحوي در آن درگير ميشوند، به وجود آورده است كه در اين مطالعه نگرش زنان نابارور نسبت به رحم جايگزين و چالش‌هاي احتمالي آن مورد بررسي قرار گرفت. مواد و روش: اين مطالعه از نوع توصيفي-تحليلي بود كه در زنان نابارور مراجعه كننده به درمانگاه شهيد مطهري شيراز انجام شد. نمونه‌گيري به روش دردسترس روي 160 نفر از زنان انجام شد. جهت جمع آوري داده ها از يك پرسشنامه 20 سوالي كه نگرش زنان نابارور و چالش‌ها و نگراني‌هاي آنها را نسبت به رحم جايگزين بررسي مي‌كرد، استفاده شد. داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS نسخه 14مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفت. يافته‌ها: نتايج نشان داد كه 5/73 درصد از زنان نابارور نسبت به رحم جايگزين، نگرش منفي و مابقي نگرش مثبت داشتند. همچنين مهمترين نگرانيهاي زنان نابارور نسبت به رحم جايگزين عبارتند از: مغايرت اين روش با فرهنگ و مذهب، مشكلات احتمالي كودك، سو استفاده از مادر جانشين، تهديد رابطه با همسر و كاهش احساس تعلق به كودك. بحث و نتيجه‌گيري: نتايج اين مطالعه نشان داد كه نزديك به دو سوم زنان نگرش منفي به رحم جايگزين داشتند. به علاوه مغايرت اين روش با فرهنگ و مذهب، مشكلات احتمالي كودك، سو استفاده از مادر جانشين، تهديد رابطه با همسر و كاهش احساس تعلق به كودك از مهمترين نگراني‌ها بود. لذا برگزاري كارگاه‌هاي آموزشي جهت بهبود نگرش زنان در اين زمينه پيشنهاد مي‌شود. واژگان كليدي: رحم جايگزين، درمانگاه ناباروري، زنان نابارور، چالش‌هاي اخلاقي

Abstract Background: Infertility is one of the important issues related to reproductive health, which can cause a lot of problems in family life. Assisted reproductive techniques have played an important role in treatment of infertility during the past three decades. One of these methods is surrogacy, which has caused many challenges in relationships and personal lives of those involved. This study aimed to investigate the attitude of infertile women towards surrogacy and its probable challenges. Methods: This descriptive-analytical study was conducted on 160 infertile women referring to Shahid Motahari clinic in Shiraz selected through convenience sampling. The study data were collected using a 20-item questionnaire that assessed infertile women’s challenges and concerns about surrogacy. Finally, the data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical software, version 14. Results: The results showed that 72.5% of the infertile women had negative attitudes and the rest had positive attitudes towards surrogacy. Indeed, the women’s main concerns about using this method were incompatibility with culture and religion, child’s potential problems, surrogate mother’s probable abuse, threats to relationship with one’s husband, and decreased sense of belonging to the child. Conclusion: The study results showed that nearly two thirds of the women had negative attitudes towards surrogacy. The main concerns included incompatibility with culture and religion, child’s potential problems, surrogate mother’s probable abuse, threats to relationship with one’s husband, and decreased sense of belonging to the child.
