A review of Stability and Lifetime Estimation of Emulsion Explosives

امولسيون انفجاري دسته‌اي از امولسيون‌هاي آب در روغن با مخلوطي از سوخت و اكسيد كننده و اجزا ديگر مي باشد. امولسيون‌ها نوع جديدي از مواد منفجره صنعتي مي‌باشند. امولسيون ها به دليل پايداري، ايمني بالا و عملكرد انفجاري خوبشان، به‌عنوان يك منبع انرژي قدرتمند و ارزان در بخش دفاعي و غيردفاعي به ويژه در معادن و راه سازي مورد استفاده قرار مي گيرند. يكي از الزامات اين ماده منفجره، برخورداري از پايداري مناسب در طول انبارداري در يك بازه يك ساله مي باشد. عوامل متعددي باعث ايجاد ناپايداري در امولسيون‌هاي انفجاري مي‌شوند كه از جمله آن ها مي توان به متغيرهاي فرآيند توليد و شرايط انبارداري اشاره نمود. از عواقب ناپايداري و پيرشدگي امولسيون‌هاي انفجاري كاهش خواص مكانيكي، افت عملكرد و انفجار خودبه‌خودي خواهد بود. در اين مقاله، ضمن معرفي اجمالي امولسيون هاي انفجاري و كاربردهاي آن به عوامل موثر بر ناپايداري و عواقب آن اشاره و در ادامه روش هاي تخمين طول عمر اين دسته از مهمات پرداخته خواهد شد.

Emulsion explosive is a form of water in oil emulsions. They include a mixture of fuel and oxidizer and other components. Emulsions are a new type of industrial explosive materials. Emulsions because of their stability, high safety and well explosive performance, are used as a powerful and inexpensive source of energy in agriculture, water conservancy, transportation, mining, building materials and etc. So their stability and lifetime is very important. Several factors are causing instability in the explosive emulsions. Aging is an inevitable phenomenon that in any case, it will happen. Emulsion explosives during storage, reducing mechanical properties, reducing performance and reducing lifetime, which ultimately leads to spontaneous explosions or the loss of their performance. In this study, factors affecting the stability of explosive emulsions, emulsions aging processes and methods of measuring the lifetime of emulsion explosives are reviewed. Also, Speed of aging processes of materials in the acceleration of environmental conditions, known as accelerated aging tests, pointed out.
