The Structure of Islamic Ethics: A New Approach

محققان اسلامي ‌از منظرهاي مختلف به مقولۀ اخلاق نگريسته‌اند و مطالب مختلف و گاه پراكنده‌اي در اين زمينه مطرح كرده‌اند. ورود و خروج محققان به اين مبحث‌‌، يكسان نيست. به‌ويژه اين‌كه نگرش آنان از اين جهت كه به صِرف عقل اعتماد كرده‌اند يا نقل يا هر دو‌، متفاوت است. بسياري اوقات چندان به دنبال تنظيم يك نظام اخلاقي يا ساختار معين نبوده‌اند و يا دست‌كم نگاه استقلالي به آن نداشته‌اند و از اين‌رو‌‌، چندان تصريحي به «نظام اخلاقي» ندارند. البته‌‌، بي‌ترديد اگر« نظام اخلاقي» تعريف شود و منظور از«ساختار» آن تبيين شود و با اين نگاه به مجموعۀ آن چه در« اخلاق» آورده‌اند، نگريسته شود‌‌، چه‌بسا بتوان نظام اخلاقي خاص و ساختار معين از آن استخراج كرد‌ كه كار چندان ساده‌اي نيز نيست. پاره‌اي از نويسندگان ومحققان معاصر به مسئلۀ «نظام اخلاقي» و «ساختار» آن توجه مستقل نموده‌اند و مسئلۀ «نظام اخلاقي» و شرايط و پيش‌فرض‌هاي آن را برجسته كرده‌اند كه كار بسيار پسنديده‌اي است، اما آن چه در اين مقاله ارائه مي‌شود‌‌؛ نگاه جديدي به ساختار اخلاق اسلامي است كه سابق بر اين در كتب اخلاق اسلامي پيشينه‌اي براي آن يافت نشده است.

Muslim scholars have viewed the subject of ethics from different perspectives and have addressed different and sometimes scattered propositions in this regard; They are different in how they have entered into and concluded the issue, and are particularly different in their views with regards to the sole dependence on intellect or tradition or both. They have seldom tried to formulate a definite moral system or structure, or at least, they have not taken it into consideration independently, therefore they have not particularly specified a "moral system". No doubt, if the collection of what they have written about "ethics" is viewed with the aim of defining a "moral system" and explaining the meaning and purpose of its "structure", a particular "moral system and its structure" can be extracted, which is not very easy. Some contemporary writers and scholars have taken into consideration the issue of "the moral system and its structure" independently, and highlighted its conditions and presuppositions - which is very admirable, however, the present paper provides a new view about the structure of Islamic ethics which does not hold precedence in previous books of Islamic Ethics.
