هدف پژوهش حاضر، استخراج دلالت‌هايي از نظريه فطرت در نظام تربيتي اسلام است؛ چرا كه يكي از ضرورت‌هاي مهم براي نظريه‌سازي اسلامي در حوزه تربيت، نظريه‌پردازي بر اساس مباني اسلامي است. نظريه «فطرت» يكي از نظريه‌هاي كلان انسان‌شناختي اسلامي است كه سرشتي خاص را براي انسان متصور است. روش پژوهش حاضر، روش اجتهاد ديني است كه داراي سه گام «پژوهش از كل منابع مربوط به مسئله تحقيق»، «برگزيدن معناي متعين يا مرجح با سنجش امكانات معنايي متن و شواهد و دلايل كافي» و «كشف مشروط واقع با به كارگيري استدلال و استفاده از صورت‌هاي منطقي و قياسي» است. «بهره‌مندي همه شاكله‌هاي تربيتي از فطرت الهي»، «رأي به توانايي رشد همه انسان‌ها»، «معتبر دانستن بخشي از تفاوت‌هاي تربيتي افراد»، «امكان ارتباط افراد با زبان فطرت»، «فطري دانستن ارتباطات ميان انسان‌ها»، «مفاهمه ذاتي افراد با زبان ديني» و «مبتني بودن بقا شاكله‌هاي تربيتي بر بخش فطري» از جمله مواردي هستند كه از نظريه فطرت استنباط شده‌اند و بر اين اساس دلالت‌هايي مانند «توجه به جنسيت در سياست‌گذاري تربيتي»، «توجه به طبيعت‌هاي ويژه»، «تمركز بر نفوس قريب‌العهد»، «توجه به سنين خاص» و «ارتباط تربيتي دين‌محور به جاي شريعت محور» براي باز شدن باب تفكر و در نتيجه سياست‌گذاري بر اين مبنا در نظريه تربيتي بيان‌شده‌اند.
