آموزش و پرورش كليد فتح آينده است و از دير باز انتظار از آموزش و پرورش آن بوده كه انسان هاي فردا را تربيت كند و نسل آمروز را براي زندگي در جامعه ي فردا آماده سازد. بنابراين ضرورت دارد برنامه ريزان و سياست گذاران آموزشيء معلمان ومسئولان آموزش و الزامات و مقتضيات زندگي فردا را بشناسند تا بتوانند دانش و بينش لازم را در كودكان و جوانان براي فعاليت در جامعه ي فردا را پرورش دهند. در راستاي اين سياست. شناسايي ويژگي هاي آموزش و پرورش كارا و اثر بخش از اهميت خاصي برخوردار است. مقاله حاضر در صدد شناخت ابعاد آموزش و پروزش كشور ايران با ديگر كشور هاي پيشرفته آموزشي (ايران، فرانسه، مالزي, كانادا و سوئيس) نگاشته شده كه پس از ذكر مقدمه مطالبي پيرامون سير تحول و آموزش و پرورش كنوني و نظام آموزشي پيش دبستاني و دبستاني كشورهاي مذكور و سپس مقايسه ي آن ها و ارائه ي راهكارهايي واقع بينانه و عملي جهت بهبود آموزش و پرورش كشورمان شده است.
