نقدي بر روش‌شناسي تحقيقات جغرافيايي توسعه شهري در ايران مورد: رساله‌هاي دكتري جغرافيا و برنامه‌ريزي شهري دانشگاه‌هاي دولتي تهران

(A Critical Review on the Methodology of Geographical Research in Urban Development in Iran (Case study: The Doctoral Theses of Geography and Urban Planning of State Universities of Tehran

يكي از مهم‌ترين عناصر راهبردي در تحقيقات علمي به‌ كارگيري فرايند روش‌شناسي مناسب با مسأله پژوهش است. با توجه به اين‌كه توسعه شهري از حوزه‌هاي مهم تحقيقات جغرافيا و برنامه‌ريزي شهري است، واكاوي روش‌شناسي اين تحقيقات در به كارگيري يك فرآيند نظام‌مند ضرورتي اجتناب‌ناپذير است. بر اين اساس واكاوي روش‌شناسي پژوهش‌هاي علمي همراه با رهيافت انتقادي و با ارزيابي ملاك‌هاي روش‌شناسي پژوهش (فرايند انجام پژوهش)‌ هدف اين تحقيق محسوب مي‌شود. اين پژوهش از نظر روش‌شناسي توصيفي- تحليلي با تكيه بر منابع كتابخانه‌اي (چك‌ليست بيانيه پريزما) و شيوه خبره محور است. جامعه آماري پژوهش شامل 16 مورد از رساله‌هاي رشته جغرافيا و برنامه‌ريزي شهري دانشگاه‌هاي دولتي تهران در زمينه توسعه شهري است. نتايج پژوهش نشان مي‌دهد كه در فرايند روش‌شناسي پژوهش با توجه به نظر كارشناسان به ترتيب شاخص‌هاي بيان مسأله، پرسش‌هاي پژوهش و روش‌شناسي اهميت بيشتري داشته و در اولويت‌هاي نخست قرار دارند، در صورتي كه رساله‌هاي مورد بررسي از اين حيث دچار كاستي بوده و موارد ديگري از جمله شاخص‌هاي منابع، تبيين هدف و آيين نگارش نمره بالاتري را به خود اختصاص داده‌اند.

Applying a methodology relevant to the research question is one of the most fundamental elements of scientific research. Due to the importance of urban development in geographical and urban planning research, the examination of the employed methodologies in a systematic process of scientific inquiry is an inevitable necessity. Hence, critical review of the methodologies of scientific research and evaluation of methodological criteria (the process of doing research) is the purpose of this study. This is a descriptive-analytical research with emphasis on library resources (the PRISMA statement checklist) and expert-based method. The sample of this research includes sixteen theses in geography and urban planning on urban development in state universities of Tehran. Results show that while in experts’ opinion, problem statement, research questions and research methodology are the most important indices, the examined theses had shortcomings in these aspects and paid more attention to resources, goal description and composition skills.
