Requirements of Recognition of the Sources of the Prophet Sīra

محوريت سيره نبوي در فرهنگ و تمدن اسلامي، كه شامل نقش واسطه اي پيامبر(ص) در دريافت آموزه هاي وحياني و صورت بخشي بشري، اجتماعي، و فرهنگي ـ تمدني به آن است، ايجاب مي كند كه اولاً وجوه مختلف اين سيره شناخته شود و ثانياً اصول انسان شناختي، اخلاقي، جامعه شناختي و به طور كلي، كاركردي آن در فرهنگ و تمدن اسلامي، براي فرهنگ سازي و تمدن سازي استخراج گردد. اين مهم جز با توجه به بايسته ها و شناسايي انواع منابع سيره نبوي به دست نخواهد آمد. هدف اين نوشتار تبيين بايسته هاي ديني ـ تمدني منبع شناسي سيره (مبتني بر وجوه مختلف شخصيتي آن حضرت)، شناخت گونه هاي آن، و تبيين نسبتشان با بايسته ها با نگاه كل نگر و به روش تحليل محتواست. كتاب هاي مهم و شناخته شده درباره سيره نبوي شامل سه گونه سيره و مغازي، تواريخ عمومي، و تواريخ محلي مكه و مدينه اند كه از دايره اين تحقيق خارج اند و در عوض، گونه هايي همچون قرآن و كتاب هاي تفسيري، حديثي، شرح احوال، كتاب هاي فتوح و خراج، و آثار جغرافيايي و كلامي تا قرن هفتم هجري بررسي شده اند كه در مطالعات سيره پژوهي، كمتر مورد توجه بوده اند يا اصلاً توجهي به آن ها نشده است.

The centrality of the Prophet sīra (biography) in Islamic culture and civilization، which includes the role of the intermediary of the Prophet in receiving the revelation and the human، social، and cultural-civilizational formation of it، requires that firstly، the various aspects of this sīra are known and secondly، its anthropological، moral and sociological principles، and، in general، its function in Islamic culture and civilization، are to be derived for making a culture and civilization. This will not be achieved except in the light of the requirements and identification of various kinds of the sources of the Prophet Sīra. The purpose of this article is by a holistic view and content analysis method to explain the religious-civilization requirements of the source's identification (based on the various aspects of his personality)، the recognition of its varieties. Important and well-known books on Prophet life include three types of Sīra and Maghāzī، general Chronicles، and the local Chronicles of Mecca and Medina، which are excluded from this study. Instead، such types as the Qur'an and its interpretations، hadīth collections، biographical dictionaries، Futūḥ (conquests) and Kharādj (land taxation) books، as well as geographical and theological works by the seventh century AH، which have been less studied or neglected in SĪRA studies، are examined.
