نقد و بررسي كتاب «فرهنگ نصيري»

A critical study of the Farhang-e Nasiri

با گسترش زبان تركي در ايرانِ عصر صفوي و نياز به اين زبان براي برقرار داشتن ارتباطات با كشورهاي ترك‌زبان همسايه، شماري فرهنگ لغت در اين دوره تأليف شد تا يادگيري تركي و فهم كلمات دشوار اين زبان را در متون مختلف آسان سازد. فرهنگ نصيري يكي از اين فرهنگ هاست كه دو تن از منشيان درباري عهد صفوي با هدف ياد شده تأليف كرده‌اند كه تنها نسخۀ خطي آن را دكتر حسن جوادي و دكتر ويلم فلور با همكاري چند تن ديگر اخيراً تصحيح و نشر كرده‌اند. قصد در اين مقاله معرفيِ اجمالي و سپس نقدي بر اين كتاب است كه ضمن آن نمونه‌هايي از خطاهاي متعدد عجيبِ آن نقل خواهد شد. نتيجه‌گيري نگارنده اين است كه آنچه مصححان محترم انجام داده‌اند، اززش علمي ندارد و چيزي جز اتلاف پول در بر نداشته است.

Along with the spread of Turkish in Iran under the Safavids and the need to know this language for communicating with the neighbouring Turkish states, a number of dictionaries were compiled in this period in order to facilitate the learning of this language or to facilitate the comprehension of difficult Turkish words, in various subjects written in this language. The Nasiri Farhang (Nasiri’s Dictionary) is one of the Turkish-Persian dictionaries written by two court secretaries in the Safavid period towards this same goal. Its only manuscript has recently been amended and sent to the market by Hasan Javadi, and Willem Floor in collaboration with several others. My intention in this article is a brief presentation and then a critique of this book, quoting samples of its numerous strange mistakes. My conclusion is that what the respected editors have done is of little scholarly importance, resulting in nothing but waste of money.
