The Effect of Water Pollution on Health Economics: A Panel Data Approach

منظور از آلودگي آب، آلودگي شيميايي، بيولوژيكي، ميكروبي و آلودگي با مواد زايد آب درياچه‌ها، رودخانه‌ها، اقيانوس‌ها و آب‌هاي زيرزميني است. آلاينده‌هاي خاصي كه سبب آلودگي آب مي‌شوند شامل طيف وسيعي از مواد شيميايي، بيماري زاها و تغييرات حسي و فيزيكي از قبيل افزايش دما و تغيير رنگ هستند. آلودگي آب چه به صورت بيولوژيكي يعني وجود ميكروب هاي بيماري زا و چه به صورت آلودگي شيميايي يعني وجود مواد شيميايي آلاينده سبب بيماري ها و اختلالات متعددي در سلامتي فرد و جامعه مي شود. در اين راستا هدف اصلي اين مقاله بررسي ميزان تاثيرگذاري آلودگي آب بر نرخ مرگ و مير و مخارج بهداشتي به عنوان شاخص هاي نشان دهنده اقتصاد سلامت در گروه كشورهاي منتخب اروپايي مي باشد. تحقيق حاضر يك تحقيق كاربردي، علّي و از نظر شيوه پرداختن به مسأله استنباطي است. نتايج حاصل از برآورد مدل ها به روش اثرات ثابت درگروه كشورهاي منتخب اروپايي نشان مي دهد آلودگي آب تأثير مثبت و معناداري بر نرخ مرگ و مير و مخارج بهداشتي به عنوان شاخص هاي نشان دهنده اقتصاد سلامت در گروه كشورهاي منتخب دارد. محدود بودن منابع آب و آلودگي آن زنگ خطري براي كمبود آب سالم در آينده محسوب مي شود و براي مقابله با اين بحران، مديريت مصرف آب بهترين گزينه مي باشد.

Water pollution is chemical، biological، microbic pollution، and pollution by waste materials in lakes، rivers، oceans and underground waters. Pollutants that cause water pollution include a wide range of chemical materials، pathogens، sensory and physical changes like increase in temperature and changes in color. Water pollution، whether biological، that is due to the existence of pathogenic microbes، or chemical، that is due to the existence of polluting chemical materials، causes many illnesses and several disorders to individual or public health. Therefore، the main purpose of this article investigation is the impact of water pollution on death rate and Health Expenditure as indicators of health economics in a the selected European countries. This article is an applied research، causal and inferential research by methodology. The results of the estimation models using Fixed Effect shows that water pollution has a significant and positive effect on death rate and Health Expenditure as indicators of health economics in the selected countries. The scarcity of water resources and their pollution is an alarm call indicating the shortage of healthy water resources in the future. To counter this crisis، water consumption management is the best option
