بررسي رشد و توسعه ي شهر مشهد در دوران تيموري

The study of the growth and development of Mashhad during the Timurid era

با آغاز حملات تيمور گوركاني به نواحي مختلف ايران‌ زمين و همچنين جنگ‌ هاي خانگي و جانشيني اميرزادگان در مقاطع بعدي، به طور نسبي برخي از شهرها و آبادي‌ هاي مهم گذشته ايران‌ زمين، ويران شدند اما خراسان به دليل قرار گرفتن مركز حكومت تيموريان در آن توسط برخي از اخلاف تيمور به آباداني گراييد و موجبات رونق بيشتر شهرهاي اين منطقه فراهم شد. جانشينان تيمور با ساخت بناهاي عام‌ المنفعه و ايجاد راه‌ ها، براي پيشرفت تجارت و امنيت مسيرهاي بازرگاني و ارتباط با حكومت‌ هاي ديگر پرداختند و توانستند تا حدودي خرابي‌ هاي قبلي را جبران كنند. اين تحقيق در پي پاسخ به اين سئوال است كه علت رشد سريع شهر مشهد در دوره تيموريان چه بوده است؟ در پاسخ فرض تحقيق بر اين استوار است كه روند رشد سريع مشهد در دوره تيموريان به خاطر، توجه شيعيان به مرقد امام رضا (ع) و افزايش زائران و توجه خاص حاكمان تيموري به جايگاه مهم و تاريخي اين منطقه بوده است. اين پژوهش با استفاده از روش تحقيق تاريخي ترتيب يافته و در تلاش است كه دورنمايي از اين روند رشد و توجه حاكمان تيموري را به شهر مشهد را بر اساس مستندات تاريخي ارائه نمايد. نتايج به دست آمده از اين پژوهش گوياي اين مطلب است كه شهر مشهد در دوره تيموري، رشد اقتصادي و به دنبال آن، توسعه‌ ي معماري شهري زيادي را تجربه نموده است و اين مهم بستگي زيادي به گسترش امنيت و ارتباط با حكومت‌ هاي دور و نزديك و حمايت امراي تيموري داشته و همچنين با توجه ويژه‌ ي آنان به برپايي سازه‌ هاي بزرگ اقتصادي و اجتماعي و آثار باشكوه همراه بوده است.

This research seeks to answer this question, what was the reason for the rapid growth of Mashhad during the Timurid period? In response to the hypothesis of the research, it is based on the fact that the rapid growth of Mashhad during the Timurid period was due to the attention of the Shiites to the shrine of Imam Reza (AS) and the increase of pilgrims and the special attention of the rulers of Timurid to the important and historic place of this region. This research is arranged using the historical research method and is trying to present the perspective of this development process and the attention of the Timurid rulers to the city of Mashhad on the basis of historical documentation. The results of this research indicate that during the Timurid period, the city of Mashhad, economic growth and, consequently, urban development has been expanded, and this depends largely on the development of security and communication with distant and close governments and support The emirates of Timurid have been associated with their special attention to the establishment of large economic and social structures and magnificent works.
