چكيده فارسي :
مقدمه: با توجه به اهميت بررسي همسرگزيني به عنوان سنگ بناي اوليه‌ي تشكيل خانواده و اهميت ملاك‌هاي اين انتخاب بر روي موفقيت يا شكست بعدي در زندگي زناشويي، پژوهش حاضر بررسي رابطه‌ي بين ويژگي‌هاي شخصيتي با ملاك‌هاي انتخاب همسر را هدف خود قرار داده است.
روش‌كار: جامعه‌ي آماري اين مطالعه‌ي تحليلي-مقطعي شامل تمام دانشجويان دانشگاه شهيد بهشتي مشغول به تحصيل در نيم‌سال دوم سال تحصيلي91-1390 بودند. از ميان اين جامعه، 375 نفر (168 پسر و 207 دختر) به شيوه‌ي نمونه‌گيري در دسترس انتخاب و با استفاده از پرسش‌نامه‌هاي شخصيت نئو و ملاك‌هاي انتخاب همسر باس، ارزيابي گرديدند. داده‌ها با نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه‌ي 16 و روش‌هاي همبستگي اسپيرمن و پيرسون و تحليل رگرسيون چندگانه مورد تحليل قرار گرفتند.
يافته‌ها: بين تعدادي از ويژگي‌هاي شخصيتي از جمله برون‌گرايي (0/01>P)، گشودگي به تجربه (0/01>P) و وظيفه‌شناسي با ترجيح عوامل انتخاب همسر، رابطه‌ي معني‌داري وجود داشت (0/01>P) و اين ويژگي‌ها سهم معني‌داري در پيش‌بيني عوامل انتخاب همسر داشتند.
نتيجه‌گيري: اگر چه ويژگي‌هاي شخصيتي نقش مهمي در پيش بيني ملاك‌هاي انتخاب همسر دارند، ولي به نظر مي‌رسد كه توان پيش بيني زماني مي‌تواند بيشتر باشد كه فرد واقعا قصد ازدواج داشته باشد و به طور جدي در فرايند انتخاب همسر درگير شود.
چكيده لاتين :
Introduction: Given the importance of invetigating mate
selection as the cornerstone of family forming and the
importance of the criteria of this selection on subsequent
success or failure in Married life, the present study aims
invetigating the relationship between personality
characteristics with mate selection criteria.
Materials and Methods: The kind of present study is
analytic-cross sectional. Statistical population consists of
all students of Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran that
were enrolled in second semester of the academic year of
2011-12. Among this population, 375 persons (168 mal and
207 female) were selected through available sampling and
were assessed employing NEO Personality Questionnaire
and Buss’ questionnaire of mate selection criteria. The data
of research was analyzed by SPSS software 16 and using
Spearman and Pearson correlation and multiple regression
analysis.
Results: There was a significant relationship between
some of personality characteristics including of
extraversion (P<0.01), openness to experience (P<0.01),
and conscientious (P<0.01) with mate selection factors and
these characteristics had significant effect in predicting of
mate selection factors.
Conclusion: Although the personality characteristics have
important role in predicting of mate selection criteria, but
seen that power of prediction when can be more that the
person truly want to be married and he seriously engaged in
the process of mate selection
