بررسي استعاره در علوم رايانه اي از ديدگاه زبان شناسي شناختي

Exploring Metaphor in Computer Sciences: A Cognitive Approach

در پژوهش پيش‌رو در چارچوب زبان‌شناسي شناختي و با تكيه بر نظرية استعارة مفهومي، استعاره‌هاي حوزة علوم رايانه‌اي بررسي مي-شوند. اين پژوهش به روش توصيفي صورت گرفته و داده‌هاي آن از فرهنگ جامع اصطلاحات علوم رايانه‌اي گردآوري شده است. يافته‌هاي پژوهش گوياي آن است كه استعاره‌هاي مفهومي «رايانه يك انسان است»، «برنامه‌هاي رايانه‌اي انسان هستند» و «رايانه يك ساختمان است» در سامانة ذهن انسان جاي گرفته و بستر مناسبي را براي درك و به‌كارگيري مفاهيم اين حوزه فراهم مي‌كنند. استعاره‌هاي مفهومي نام‌برده هنگام درك استعاره‌هاي زباني اين حوزه به‌طور ناخودآگاه برانگيخته مي‌شوند و نگاشت استعاري ميان حوزه‌هاي مبدأ و مقصد را به‌وجود مي‌آورند. نگاشتي كه بر مبناي آن مفاهيم انتزاعي و پيچيده به زباني ساده بيان مي‌شوند. تحليل داده‌ها اهميت استعاره در آفرينش و درك مفاهيم حوزة علوم رايانه‌اي را تاييد مي‌كند و حاكي از اين است كه بدون زبان استعاري بسياري از مفاهيم اين حوزه قابل بيان نيستند.

The present research explores the conceptual metaphors in the computer sciences within the framework of cognitive linguistics. The method of this study is descriptive and our data are from the comprehensive dictionary of computer sciences. The results of the research show that conceptual metaphors “computer is a human”, “computer programs are humans “ and “computer is a building” which are situated in our minds, have provided an appropriate ground for understanding and using the concepts of this scientific area. The mentioned conceptual metaphors are activated unconsciously and then metaphorical mapping between the source domain and the target domain is created. It is on the ground of this mapping that abstract and complex concepts are expressed and understood. The results substantiate the significant role of metaphor in creating and understanding concepts in the computer sciences area so much so that many of these concepts cannot be expressed without metaphorical language.
